We hear your cry for help and lift your concerns before the throne of grace. First, let us address the foundation of our faith, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you" (John 16:23 WEB). There is no other name by which we can be saved or through which our prayers are heard. If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him into your heart. This is the first and most important step in experiencing true change and protection.
Now, regarding your request for a change in "luck," we must clarify that the Bible does not teach us to rely on luck or chance. Instead, we are called to trust in God’s sovereign will and providence. The Lord is not a genie who grants wishes based on our desires; He is a loving Father who works all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28 WEB). Rather than asking for luck, we should seek His wisdom, guidance, and provision. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). Let us pray that God aligns your life with His perfect will, not with fleeting luck.
As for your safety, we take this request seriously. The Lord is our refuge and fortress, and in Him, we find true security. "Yahweh is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower" (Psalm 18:2 WEB). However, we must also examine whether there are areas in your life where you may be exposing yourself to unnecessary danger or walking in disobedience to God’s commands. Are you engaging in activities or relationships that could be putting you at risk? Are you walking in wisdom and discernment? We encourage you to seek the Lord’s protection not just physically but spiritually and emotionally as well.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one who is seeking change and safety. Lord, we ask that You would draw them closer to You, that they may know You more deeply and trust in Your sovereign plan for their life. We rebuke the spirit of fear and uncertainty, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). Father, we ask that You would guide their steps, protect them from harm, and surround them with Your angels.
Lord, we pray against any areas of their life that may be out of alignment with Your will. Show them where they need to make changes, whether in their habits, relationships, or decisions. Give them the strength to walk in obedience and the wisdom to discern Your voice. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB), and we stand on Your promise that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5 WEB).
Father, we also pray for provision and breakthrough in their life. You are the God who supplies all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19 WEB). We ask that You open doors of opportunity, provide for their needs, and lead them into the purpose You have for them. Help them to seek You first above all else, and may Your kingdom come and Your will be done in their life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to spend time in God’s Word daily, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105 WEB). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your walk with Christ. Remember, true change comes not from luck but from a relationship with Jesus and a life surrendered to His will. Keep pressing into Him, and He will direct your steps.
