Now, let us consider this situation through the lens of Scripture. Proverbs 16:3 reminds us, "Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed." While it is natural to feel anxious when things do not go as we hope, we are called to surrender our plans and desires to the Lord, trusting that He will direct our steps. Have you considered reaching out to her again, perhaps with a gentle and gracious tone, to express the importance of the information you need? We also want to encourage you to examine your heart in this situation. Are you placing an unhealthy level of expectation or dependency on this person or the information she holds? While it is important to seek what you need, we must be careful not to let our peace or sense of security rest in the hands of others. Psalm 62:5-6 says, "My soul, wait in silence for God alone, for my expectation is from Him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress. I will not be shaken." God is your ultimate provider, and He knows your needs even before you ask Him.
If this woman is someone you have a personal relationship with beyond this situation, it may also be worth reflecting on whether there are any unaddressed tensions or misunderstandings that could be contributing to the lack of communication. Ephesians 4:29 instructs us, "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear."
