Please

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up in prayer. Father God, we know that Your ways are higher than our ways, and Your thoughts are higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). Yet we humbly ask for Your mercy and healing upon . We ask that You restore his health, strengthen his body, and renew his spirit according to Your will.

Lord, we acknowledge that life and death are in Your hands (Deuteronomy 32:39). We trust in Your sovereign plan, but we also ask for Your compassion to spare him for a little while longer. If it is Your will, grant him more time to walk in Your purposes, to grow in faith, and to bring glory to Your name. We pray for healing, not just for his sake, but so that he may continue to serve You and be a light to those around him.

Father, if there is unconfessed sin in his life, we ask that You bring conviction and repentance. If he does not yet know You as Savior, we pray that he would turn to Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). For it is written, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). We pray that would come to know the love and grace of Jesus, who laid down His life for us all.

We also pray for his family and loved ones. Give them strength, peace, and faith as they trust in You. Remind them that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). May they find comfort in Your promises and hope in Your unfailing love.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or despair that may be surrounding this situation. We declare that You are the God who heals (Exodus 15:26) and that Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We stand on Your Word, which says, "By His stripes, we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect timing.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

If is facing this trial as a believer, we encourage him to draw near to God, to seek His face, and to trust in His promises. If he is not yet a follower of Christ, we urge him to turn to Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), for salvation and eternal life. May the Lord bless and keep him; may the Lord make His face shine on him and be gracious to him; may the Lord turn His face toward him and give him peace (Numbers 6:24-26).

The fear in your words is so raw, we hear the love behind them. When someone you cherish is suffering and the outcome feels uncertain, that desperate “please” is a prayer God never turns away from. He is not distant from your anguish; He draws close to the brokenhearted and those who cry out in fear.

We are holding in prayer with you right now. You are not alone in this, there are others lifting him up, and we believe every word reaches the Father. In times like these, even the simplest prayers, like the one you’ve already prayed, carry all the weight they need.

One thing we’ve seen bring genuine comfort to people walking through medical crises is the presence of someone who will simply sit with them and pray. If you haven’t already, consider reaching out to a trusted friend, a pastor, or a small group in your church and ask if someone can come alongside you, to listen, to pray, to just be there. Sometimes knowing that another person is physically present and carrying the burden with you eases the weight, even when the situation doesn’t change right away. And if seeing a doctor isn’t already happening, we’d gently encourage that too, as part of caring well for .

Father, we lift up to You, the one this person loves so deeply. We ask for healing in Jesus’ name, for a full recovery that astonishes those caring for him. Surround him with Your peace and shield him from worsening. And for the one who wrote these words, hold them steady. Let them sense Your nearness in the middle of the fear, and give them courage for each new day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The plea of a heart in its agony reaches the ear of the Lord of Sabaoth. When the soul cries out, "Let him recover, do not take him yet," it is the voice of nature, of affection, of that clinging to life which the Creator has planted in us. Yet the throne of grace is not moved by mere human vehemence, but by the mighty name and merit of Jesus Christ. He who healed the sick of the palsy first pronounced the sweeter word, "Your sins are forgiven you." Pardon and healing are one in His hand. Before the body is restored, the soul must be set right with God, for where there is forgiveness, there rises the Sun of Righteousness with healing in His wings.

There are leaves from the Tree of Life which are for the healing of the nations, and every leaf bears its own medicine. A single word of Christ, recognized as His and brought home to the heart by the Spirit, heals head and heart, conscience and imagination. Is your beloved one sick unto death? Then ask not merely for the sparing of the mortal frame, but for that eternal life which is to know the only true God and Jesus Christ whom He has sent. The prayer that prevails is the prayer that pleads Christ’s own plea, "Father, forgive them", and rests the whole weight of the case upon His atoning sacrifice. He who yielded up His life as a willing sacrifice for guilty men can speak the word and the fever shall flee, the strength shall return, the grave shall give back its prey for a season.

Yet remember, the best of all healing is that which fits the soul for the immediate presence of the King. If our Lord delays to raise up the sick one, it is because He intends to give a better portion. There is a land where the inhabitant never says, "I am sick," because the leaves of that celestial tree have banished every malady. The faces yonder owe their freshness to its healing power. Plead therefore with this argument, "Lord, you have been my help in days past; You did deliver me when I knew You not; now show Yourself strong on behalf of one for whom Christ died. Do as You have said, for You are a true God, and Your promises in Christ are yea and amen."

Let your prayer be, "Preserve him, O God, for in You do I put my trust, not in physicians, not in our deservings, but in the precious blood of the Lamb." Go to the cross with your request, and there pour it out. He who died and lives forevermore holds the keys of death and Hades. He can say to the departing spirit, "Return," and it shall be so, if it be for His glory and your good. But if He should take the loved one to Himself, even then the healing is complete, for to depart and be with Christ is far better. In either case, faith wins the victory. Lay hold on eternal life now, and whether in the body or out of the body, you and your household shall be the Lord’s.
