PLEASE

We hear your cry for help and lift you up before the throne of grace with heavy hearts. The weight of life’s burdens can feel overwhelming, and we want you to know that you are not alone. The Lord sees your struggles and collects every tear in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). We stand with you in faith, believing that God is able to turn your situation around for His glory and your good.

First and foremost, we must address the foundation of our prayers. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to consider doing so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Salvation is a free gift, and it is the first step toward true peace and healing.

Now, let us pray for your situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is facing a difficult season. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who acts on behalf of Your children. We ask that You would intervene in this situation and bring about a resolution that glorifies Your name. Give our brother/sister strength and endurance to press on, even when the road is hard. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Father, we rebuke any spirit of despair, fear, or hopelessness that may be trying to take root in their heart. Your Word declares that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We speak life and victory over their circumstances. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, if there are areas in their life that need repentance or alignment with Your will, reveal them gently but clearly. Help them to walk in obedience and trust in Your perfect timing. We pray for wisdom, discernment, and favor in every area of their life, whether it be in their work, relationships, health, or finances. May they experience Your provision and see Your hand moving in ways they never imagined.

We also pray for their spiritual walk. Draw them closer to You, Lord. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit and ignite a passion for Your Word. Let them find comfort and direction in Scripture, knowing that Your promises are true and Your love is unfailing. Surround them with godly community, believers who will encourage, support, and pray for them.

Father, we declare that this situation will not define them but will instead be a testimony of Your faithfulness. Use it to strengthen their faith and to draw others to You. We trust in Your goodness and mercy, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

In Jesus’ precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises and to stand on His Word. Even when circumstances seem bleak, remember that God is working behind the scenes. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Spend time in prayer and in the Word, for it is in these moments that God speaks and strengthens us.

If your situation involves relationships, we urge you to seek godly counsel and ensure that your relationships honor the Lord. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, and any relationship outside of this design falls short of God’s best for us. If you are courting, let your goal be marriage to a fellow believer, and keep your relationship pure, honoring God with your body and your heart.

You are deeply loved, and we are standing with you in prayer. May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26).

Thank you for reaching out and letting us know you’re carrying something heavy right now. We don’t need to know all the details to take your request seriously, we’re holding you before the Lord together, and we’ll keep doing that.

Sometimes all we can manage is a simple “please pray,” and that’s enough. We’re glad you did. When life feels stuck or overwhelming, it can be easy to think we have to figure everything out on our own or have all the right words before we ask for support. But what you’ve done here is honest and brave: you’ve reached for help and trusted others to stand with you before God. That kind of trust matters deeply, and we want you to know you’re not alone in this.

While we lift you up, we also want to gently encourage you to let someone you trust in your daily life know what you’re facing, even if it’s just a little. It can help to have a person nearby who can listen, care, and maybe even pray with you in person. You don’t have to carry this by yourself.

We don’t know what you’re walking through, but God does. He is not distant or indifferent, He draws near to those who cry out to Him, even when the words are small. And right now, we join you in bringing your situation before Him.

Father, thank you that you see this person and know every part of their struggle. Please bring relief, wisdom, and help where it’s needed most. Surround them with your peace, and give them the strength to take the next step, whatever it is. Hold them steady in your love, and let them sense your presence today. We ask this in Jesus’ name, amen.

Your soul is wearied in the length of its way, and yet you have not said, There is no hope. This is the merciful grip of the Spirit upon you, that you still cry out for prayer. The worldling would have sunk into a sullen despair or drowned the cry in vain pleasures, but you stretch out your hand into the darkness for the hem of Christ’s garment. That very groan is the breath of life within you. But beware of finding contentment in the mere life of your hand, of settling for a little present relief while your soul starves. The situation you long to see mended may be the very school in which God is teaching you that broken cisterns can hold no water and that Christ alone is the fountain of living waters.

The Lord turned again the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends. This is a narrow path, but a sure one. When the heart expands in prayer for others, even for those who may have wounded you, the windows of Heaven are often thrown open to your own case. You ask for prayers; I bid you pour out your own soul in intercession for those around you. Find some erring brother, some needy saint, some perishing sinner, and plead with God for them as for your own soul. As you climb out of your misery on the ladder of another’s need, you will look down and find your own prison bars are loosening.

Your prayer for your situation to get better is a spark of hope. But let that hope be anchored not in altered circumstances, but in the unchanging Word of the living God. He has caused you to hope in His promise; now remember Him in return. Plead that Word back to Him: “Lord, You have said You will never leave me nor forsake me. Upon this You have caused me to hope, now remember that Word unto Your servant.” This is not the repetition of a form, but the cry of a soul that will not let go of the Angel of the Covenant until He blesses you. The delay you feel is not denial; it is the test that strengthens faith and the darkness that makes the coming dawn all the sweeter. We shall set our face to pray for you, trusting that He who has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Take heart; He has heard the voice of your weeping, and His deliverance will not tarry.

Your request for prayer rings with the very cry of the soul that knows where true help is found. But hear what the Apostle says: “Pray without ceasing.” Do not limit your prayer to certain hours or mere words whispered in this moment of distress. The widow by her importunity prevailed over the unjust judge; the friend at midnight shamed his neighbor into rising; the Syrophoenician woman, by her perseverance, drew forth the Master’s compassion. So you, too, must approach God at all times, watching in prayer with all perseverance, and not only for yourself but for all the saints, that together you may be strengthened.

Yet take care that your prayer is not undermined by a careless life. It is useless to stretch out your hands while your heart clings to sin. If we partake of holy things unworthily, if envy or reviling or any other poison dwells within, these things are enough to cast us out of the kingdom. We need much penitence, much endurance, much perseverance. Let your prayer be joined to a true hope, firm to the end, not shaken by trials. For hope produces patience, and patience hope, and both are nourished by the Scriptures.

Hold fast, then, to confidence in God. Did not the Lord Himself say that if you are willing to believe and be confident in prayer, you shall see greater things? He is the forerunner who has entered for us, that our hope might be anchor sure and steadfast. Therefore, pray not for a mere change of circumstances, but that in the midst of your trials you may cling to Him with unshaken faith, that you may speak boldly of His goodness, and that your life may become a living testimony. Fast and prayer together have great power, but prayer must come first and be constant. Do not grow weary, but persevere, and in due time you shall reap the good things promised to those who love Him.
