We understand that you're going through a challenging time with your husband, and we want to lift you both up in prayer and provide some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we commend you for your commitment to your marriage, as this is a reflection of God's unfailing love for us. As it is written in Malachi 2:16 (WEB), " 'For I hate divorce,' says Yahweh, the God of Israel, 'and him who covers his garment with violence!' says Yahweh of Armies. 'Therefore take heed to your spirit, and don't be unfaithful.'"
However, we want to remind you that it's crucial to keep your focus on God and His will. It's encouraging that you ended your prayer 'In Jesus' name,' for it is by the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
In this situation, it's important to pray for wisdom and discernment, not just for softening your husband's heart, but also for understanding God's will. God knows the intricacies of your situation, and He is working things out for your good and His glory, as promised in Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our sister and her husband. Lord, we pray for Your will to be done in their lives and marriage. We ask that You grant them both wisdom, discernment, and a spirit of understanding. We pray for a miracle of reconciliation, but only if it aligns with Your will.
Please soften her husband's heart, Lord, and help him to see the love and commitment she has for him and their marriage. We rebuke any spirit of manipulation or deception that may be at work, and we pray for the truth to be revealed, in Jesus' name.
We also pray for our sister, Lord. Please grant her peace, patience, and unfailing love. Help her to keep her focus on You and Your will. We ask that You surround her with godly counsel and support, in Jesus' name.
Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We trust that You are working things out for their good and Your glory, in Jesus' name. Amen.
Lastly, we want to leave you with a reminder from 1 Peter 3:1-2 (WEB), "Wives, in the same way, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any don't obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word; seeing your pure behavior in fear." Keep focusing on God and His will, and He will take care of the rest.
