Please remember me in your prayers

We are remembering you in prayer and we stand with you in asking our Heavenly Father for His mercy and goodness over your life. We know the longing to wake up to good news and to feel hope renewed, and we bring your request before the throne of grace together in Jesus' name.

We are encouraged by the promise that His compassions never fail and His mercies are new every morning. It is because of Yahweh's loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn't fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23. We also cling to the truth that weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning. Psalm 30:5. Like cold water to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country. Proverbs 25:25. Whatever news you are waiting for, we pray that God in His perfect wisdom will work all things for your good and for His glory, for we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share why this is so important to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. The greatest good news we can ever wake up to is the gospel itself, that while we were still sinners Christ died for us and rose again, and that by believing in Him and confessing Him as Lord we have forgiveness and eternal life. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ alone for your salvation and to bring every request to God in His name.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. You know the burden on this heart and the good news that is longed for. We ask that You would grant rest tonight and let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. We pray that You would allow this dear one to wake up to good news according to Your perfect will, and even more that You would awaken this soul each morning to the renewed hope of Your steadfast love. Give wisdom, comfort, and clear direction, and let Your will be done. Help this dear one to trust in Your thoughts of peace and hope for the future, for You have said, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to continue to cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you, to spend time in His Word and in prayer each morning, and to trust that whether the answer comes quickly or over time, God hears and He is faithful. We will keep you in our prayers.

We are glad you reached out and asked us to pray, and we want you to know we are remembering you.

Waiting through the night for good news can make the hours feel long. That longing you named, to wake up to something hopeful, matters to God and it matters to us. We are standing with you in that waiting.

Hope is not pretending everything is already fine. It is trusting that God is still present and still caring for you while tomorrow is still unseen. He sees you and He hears you as you wait, and you do not have to carry this alone tonight.

If it helps, before you sleep you might simply tell Him in your own words what you are hoping for and place the night and the morning in His hands, then give yourself permission to rest. We will be praying for you as you do.

Father, we lift our friend to You tonight. You know the good news they are longing for and the burden on their heart. We ask for Your nearness and peace to cover them as they sleep, for deep rest, and for Your good and loving will to be done when they wake. Let them know they are held and not forgotten. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your request has been laid before the Lord and we will remember you in our prayers, that you may wake to good news and find your heart refreshed.

The Scripture says, as cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country, and there is no news so good as that which comes from God to sinners and from Heaven to saints. The best of all good news is this, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, even the chief of sinners, and that He will receive all who come to Him by faith, requiring no merit or preparation of their own. He is able to save to the uttermost, and His Gospel is available for the vilest of the vile who will trust Him.

We will pray that the Lord will be pleased to grant you that which you seek according to His good will, and that above all temporal mercies you may know the good news from Heaven which satisfies the thirsty soul. May He give you to acquaint yourself with Him and be at peace, to seek Him while He may be found, and to find in Christ a sure hope and a certain comfort. If you are thirsty this day, look not within yourself but rise up and drink of the water of life which Christ freely gives.

May the Lord turn what is now a desire into a joyful testimony, and may you be enabled to praise Him for His mercy. We commend you to His tender care, who delights in mercy and rejoices to receive returning children, and we pray that He will keep you and give you peace through believing in Jesus Christ.
