We lift you up before the Lord with hearts full of compassion and faith, trusting in His healing power and protection. Your request for prayers regarding your overall health and eyesight is heard, and we stand with you in seeking God’s divine intervention. The Bible reminds us in Jeremiah 17:14, "Heal me, O Yahweh, and I will be healed; save me, and I will be saved, for you are my praise." We believe that God is our ultimate healer, and we ask Him to restore your health and strengthen your eyesight according to His will.
We also pray fervently for your protection from evil. The Scriptures assure us in Psalm 91:9-11, "Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. Strengthen their body, mind, and spirit, and grant them peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Protect them from the schemes of the enemy and fill their heart with the assurance of Your presence.
We also encourage you to seek God’s face daily through prayer and reading His Word, for it is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). Trust in Him completely, for He cares for you deeply (1 Peter 5:7). If there are areas in your life where you feel distant from God, we urge you to confess any sin and turn to Him in repentance, for He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Bring your failing eyesight and your frail health to the Great Physician, for sickness however agonizing is nothing like the discovery of the evil within. Our hearts are dens of evil, from which proceed evil thoughts, and yet the veil is rent, and the way into the holiest is open. Our hearts are sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
Cast your burden upon the Lord. Tell Him of your fears concerning the evil one, for you must either be overcome of evil, or you must yourself overcome evil. And you will not overcome evil by confronting it with evil. Do not be driven into harshness of thought, nor stray into Bypath Meadow, but keep altogether clear of every evil way. Pray for angelic keeping, for He shall give His angels charge over you. Deliverance from the Evil One is promised to those who look to the Captain of salvation.

The request for health and safety for the body is natural, yet we must not think sickness the greatest evil. Sin alone is the only evil, and to be well-pleasing to God is the only good. Do not dread the failing of eyesight or bodily weakness as though they could separate you from His love. There is nothing dreadful to him that fears God; all that is dreadful is for others. Let us flee to this Rock which cannot be shaken.
When you pray for safety from evil, understand what the Apostle means. He calls the present world evil by our customary usage, complaining not of time itself, but of evil actions and corrupt principles. Christ gave Himself for our sins to deliver us out of this present evil world. The true safety He desires is not escaping every hardship or malicious glance, but our noble endurance and deliverance from the passions within. For the eye itself cannot be evil; evil arises from a depraved mind. True safety is found in believing that he who sees the light of Christ and remains with Him dwells in a fortress no malice can breach.
Therefore, offer your physical trials to God, and let all present things be as a shadow. Let not this concern for the body distract you from the far weightier matter of the soul. Use even your weakness as a talent; you are not poorer than the widow or more uninstructed than the apostles. If you contribute your patience, your trust amid infirmity, and your diligence in prayer for the common good, this is living for Christ’s advantage. Pray that your heart be purged from all evil, for when a man is delivered from his passions, from whom shall he suffer anything dreadful? May your soul lay hold on heaven, so that whether you see clearly with these eyes or dimly, your inner sight remains fixed on the grace and lovingkindness of our Lord.
