We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, recognizing the deep distress and fear that weigh upon you regarding these dreams. First, we must address the foundation of your prayer, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood alone that we are saved and protected. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we urge you to confess Jesus as Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and receive the gift of salvation (Romans 10:9-10). Without this, our prayers lack the authority and power that come from being in Christ.

The dreams you describe are troubling, and we understand your desire for protection over your family and relationships. Scripture tells us that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every spirit of fear, confusion, and torment that has sought to oppress you through these dreams. The Word declares that God does not author confusion or fear, and we stand on the truth that He is a God of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33).

We also recognize the mention of dreams where family roles are challenged or dismissed. The Bible is clear about the structure and sanctity of the family. Wives are called to submit to their husbands as to the Lord, husbands are called to love their wives as Christ loved the church, and children are to honor their parents (Ephesians 5:22-6:4). Any dream or influence that seeks to undermine these God-ordained roles is not from the Lord. We rebuke every spirit of rebellion, feminism, or distortion of God’s design for the family. We pray that your household would be aligned with God’s Word, walking in the roles He has established for His glory.

You also mention a desire to be free from controlling, demanding, or evil influences. Scripture warns us to be sober and watchful, for our adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). We take authority over every dark force, every wicked influence, and every person or spirit that seeks to exert control over you or your family. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that God would expose and remove every ungodly influence from your life, replacing them with godly company that will sharpen and encourage you in the Lord (Proverbs 27:17).

Regarding your relationships, we must emphasize the importance of guarding your heart and ensuring that all your connections are honoring to God. If there are any relationships in your life that do not align with biblical principles, whether through fornication, adultery, or ungodly unions, we urge you to repent and seek God’s forgiveness. The Bible is clear that sexual immorality is a sin against one’s own body, and we are called to flee from it (1 Corinthians 6:18). If you are courting someone, let it be with the intention of marriage to a fellow believer, as Scripture instructs us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14). We pray that God would bring a godly spouse into your life, if that is His will, and that your relationships would be built on the foundation of Christ.

You also ask for financial provision and a job. We know that God is our provider, and He promises to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We pray that God would open doors of opportunity for you, leading you to a job that not only meets your financial needs but also allows you to use your gifts and talents for His glory. We declare that you are not forgotten, and that the Lord will make a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 43:19). Trust in Him, for He is faithful to provide.

Let us now lift these burdens to the Lord in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the blood of Jesus that cleanses us from all sin and gives us access to Your throne of grace. Lord, we lift up this dear one to You, asking that You would calm their spirit and remove every spirit of fear, confusion, and torment that has sought to oppress them through these dreams. We rebuke every dark force, every wicked influence, and every person or spirit that seeks to control or harm them or their family. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and we ask that You would expose and remove every ungodly influence from their life.

Father, we pray for their family and relationships. We ask that You would strengthen their household according to Your Word, aligning them with Your design for marriage and family. We rebuke every spirit of rebellion or distortion of Your truth, and we pray that their home would be a place of peace, love, and godly order. If there are any relationships in their life that do not honor You, we ask that You would bring conviction and lead them to repentance. We pray that You would bring a godly spouse into their life, if that is Your will, and that all their relationships would be built on the foundation of Christ.

Lord, we also lift up their financial needs to You. We ask that You would open doors of opportunity for them, leading them to a job that provides for their needs and allows them to use their gifts for Your glory. We declare that You are their provider, and we trust in Your faithfulness to supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would draw this dear one closer to You. If they have not yet confessed Jesus as Lord, we pray that You would soften their heart and reveal Your truth to them. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is your protector and provider. Fill your mind with Scripture, meditate on His promises, and resist the enemy by submitting to God (James 4:7). Surround yourself with godly believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your walk with Christ. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). You are not alone, and we stand with you in prayer, believing that God will answer according to His perfect will.

We hear how draining it is to have your sleep filled with the very things you dread, dreams about losing the relationships you hold dear, about certain people gaining influence they shouldn't have, about everything falling apart in ways that feel beyond your control. When those fears replay night after night, it wears you down and makes the days feel heavier too. We're sorry you're carrying that weight, and we're glad you brought it here.

What stands out to us is that these dreams haven't happened in real life, your relationships are still yours, your family is still with you, and the future hasn't been stolen from you. That doesn't make the fear less real, but it means your waking life is actually more solid ground than your sleeping mind wants you to believe. Sometimes our deepest anxieties surface at night precisely because we care so much about what we're afraid of losing. That's not a sign that the dreams are prophetic; it's a sign that your love for your people runs deep.

One gentle thought: when those dreams leave you shaken, try anchoring yourself in something tangible right after you wake up. Walk to the kitchen, make coffee, look out the window, remind yourself out loud where you are and who's still beside you. The fear loses some of its grip when we ground ourselves in what's actually in front of us, not what haunted us an hour ago.

You also mentioned the practical need for a job and steady income, and that pressure can absolutely make everything else feel more fragile. We're praying with you about that too, that doors would open and provision would show up in unexpected ways.

Lord, we lift our friend to You right now. You see the fear that chases them even in sleep, and You know how badly they want their relationships kept safe and whole. Bring peace to their mind at night, the kind of rest that isn't interrupted by what-ifs. Guard their family, their connections, and their heart from anything that would cause real harm or division. And please make a way for the job they need, opening doors only You can open. In Jesus' name, amen.

The turmoil of your spirit is laid bare in your petition, and it echoes the cry of many a troubled heart. You speak of dreams that haunt you, of a dread that wicked persons or dark forces might sever the sacred bonds of your family and relations. Yet consider this: the high tree, the lofty cedar that seems so strong, is but felled by the axe of judgment when God so wills. Those who appear to have power over your peace, who intrude upon your thoughts in the night seasons, are but as green trees that shall dry up if the dew of heaven deserts them. The Lord has said, "The dry tree by divine grace shall flourish; the green tree, deserted by the dew of heaven, shall dry up." Your fears do not dethrone the Almighty. It is a treacherous thing to judge the Lord by feeble sense, to allow the dark shadows of a dream to eclipse the light of His faithfulness.

You plead to be distanced from evil company and controlling spirits. The divine method for such a conflict is not to meet evil with evil, or to be consumed by the bitterness of alarm. No, we are commanded to overcome evil with good. To fret and to imagine that these dreams have any power to dictate God’s purpose is to grant the adversary a foothold he does not possess. I charge you, be not overcome of evil, for that discovers the sad weakness of our spiritual life. Instead, turn your soul to the strong confidence of Job, who, when stripped of all, would not speak in an unworthy manner nor charge God foolishly. Your request to have these dreams ended is a cry of faith, but let that faith rise higher. Trust God even while the dream still lingers in your memory, knowing that He who brings the low tree to flourish can turn the captivity of your mind’s peace in a moment.

Consider the end the Lord intends: that the wicked one might be baffled, foiled with his own weapons, and that your soul may be established like a tree planted by rivers of water. The path of evil is ever downward; its sun sets at noon. Those vain thoughts, those apparitions of loss and control, they begin as mountains in the night but shall end as mole-hills in the light of God’s countenance. Let your prayer become less a frantic listing of fears, and more the quiet intercession of a soul that knows its Redeemer lives. Pray for those friends or figures who haunt your slumber, for it was when Job prayed for his offending friends that the Lord turned his own captivity. Divorce your mind from the tyranny of these visions. Be natural as grace makes you natural, and speak to God of His own goodness, not merely of the evil you dread.

As for your temporal need of employment and provision, cast that care upon Him as well, not as an anxious afterthought, but with the same faith that entrusts your family to His hedge of protection. Evil things may seem to begin well, but they end badly; the righteous man’s latter end shall greatly increase. Wait upon the Lord. Be as patient as Job, and you will find hope ever shining like a star which never sets. The Lord’s power is not shortened because of a dream, nor His arm withdrawn because of a threatening voice in the darkness. Rise from the ashes of your fear, abhor the evil that would bind your thoughts, and look to the throne where the true Intercessor ever lives to present your petitions. He will bring you to a place where the wicked cease from troubling, and where your relationships are not held hostage by the shadows of the night.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your dreams are shadows of the night, fleeting as the sleep from which they spring. The present life itself is no different from a dream, and its things are like phantoms. Those who grow rich in a dream, when day comes, find they have nothing. Why then do you tremble at illusions? The evil that haunts your sleeping mind has no power over your waking soul unless you grant it. Do not make provision for the flesh to fulfil its lusts, nor for your fears to breed more terrors. Instead, when such dreams assail you, give thanks to God, for this is the mark of a soul that seeks wisdom. If you suffer any evil, real or imagined, say with Job: “Blessed be the name of the Lord.” Disease, want, false accusations, these are not the true evils. It is the one who does wrong who perishes, not the one who suffers it.

You ask the Lord to distance certain persons from you and your relations. A wife, a neighbor, a companion can be a great good or a great evil. Yet remember that evil communications corrupt good manners, but good communications can cure them. No one can thrust out the sheep that abide in the pasture of the Good Shepherd. Christ Himself is the door; if you enter by Him, you will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture. Do not let the dread of losing your relations turn you inward upon yourself. Pray for those you fear, that they may walk in virtue, and trust that if you cling to Christ, no one, not even those who plot in darkness, can snatch you from His hand.

You cry out for a job and a flow of money. It is good to work with your hands and provide for your household, but do not let that provision become a furnace of desire. The heathen run after all these things; your heavenly Father knows what you need. Seek first the kingdom and His righteousness, and all else will be added. The promise of sonship is already yours through the Spirit of adoption, so why live like a slave to bread? Give thanks in all things, even in lack, and the evil you fear will be changed into good. Remember: the devil fell from heaven through envy, and he wants to drag you into the same pit of anxious grasping. Stand firm, flee from him at the first stirring of these dreads, and you will be in safety, securely enjoying the blessings God has prepared for those who love Him.

I have read your prayer, and my heart goes out to you. When fear grips us through repeating dreams of loss, when we feel threatened by the wrong influences around our families, it can feel just like Job in his own distress, overwhelmed, confused, and crying out for answers that don't seem to come. You are not evil for wanting your family safe and your relationships protected. That desire comes from a place of love, and God sees it.

In the story of Job, a man who lost everything, his friends kept telling him that his suffering must be proof of some hidden sin. They meant well perhaps, but they only added to his misery. God rebuked them in the end, because they assumed they understood His purposes when they did not. So I do not come to you with easy formulas or accusations. Your pain is real, and God does not turn away from those who call to Him in Jesus’ name.

Job cried out from his grief, saying many things he didn't fully understand, things that were not God’s final answer for him. So too, the fear in those dreams may speak loudly now, but they are not the final word over your life. Fix your eyes on what God has actually promised: He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. When the nightmares come, turn them back into prayer, just as you have done. That is not weakness; it is faith in action.

The cry of Job for a “daysman,” someone to stand between him and God, has been answered once and for all in Jesus Christ. He is your mediator. He knows your anxieties. He does not stand afar off, even when dark thoughts press in. Let His peace guard your heart. Ask Him to fill your mind with His truth before you sleep, and trust that no evil dream or scheming person can snatch your family from His hand.

Whether God chooses to remove these dreams instantly or walks with you through them, remember that Job’s story did not end in the ash heap. God restored him, not because Job was perfect, but because God is merciful. He is not punishing you. He is not forgetting you. He hears every word of your prayer for a job, for provision, for distance from those who would do harm. His timing may stretch our patience, but His provision is sure.

So keep praying boldly. Don’t let the accusations of the enemy, or even the well-meaning but misguided words of others, shake your confidence in the Lord. Stand on this: the same God who limited what Satan could do to Job has already set the boundaries around your life. Nothing can touch you that has not first passed through His love. Rest in that, even when you don't understand.
