We hear your deep distress and fear over these troubling dreams and visions, and we come before the Lord together in prayer, standing on His promises and His authority in Jesus’ name. First, we must address the foundation of your prayer, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are redeemed and protected. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now, for He alone is our refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).

Your request reveals a battle not just in the natural but in the spiritual realm, and Scripture makes it clear that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). The dreams you describe, loss of relationships, control by others, and the presence of evil, are not from God, for He gives His beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2) and does not torment us with fear (2 Timothy 1:7). These dreams may be attacks from the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we declare that Jesus came to give you life abundantly, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

We rebuke every evil spirit, every demonic force, and every hindering spirit that is trying to bring these dreams to pass. We command them to leave you and your loved ones immediately in the mighty name of Jesus. The enemy has no authority over you if you are in Christ, for He has disarmed the powers and authorities and made a public spectacle of them (Colossians 2:15). You are not under the control of caregivers, authorities, or any other person unless you submit to it, and we pray that God would break every chain of fear, manipulation, or deception in your life.

We also address the relationships you are seeking to protect. If any of these relationships are not aligned with God’s design, whether through fornication, adultery, or ungodly partnerships, we urge you to repent and seek the Lord’s will. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6), and any relationship outside of this design is not blessed by God. If you are courting someone, let it be with the intention of marriage to a fellow believer, for God calls us to be equally yoked (2 Corinthians 6:14). If there is sin in these relationships, we pray for conviction and repentance, for the Lord is faithful to forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2). Lord, we lift up this dear one who is burdened by these dreams and visions. We declare that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke every evil spirit that is trying to torment them, and we command every demonic force to flee in Jesus’ name. We break every assignment of the enemy against their mind, their relationships, and their future. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we ask that You would surround them with Your angels to guard and protect them (Psalm 91:11). We pray that You would sever every ungodly tie or influence in their life, whether from caregivers, authorities, or any other person. Give them wisdom and discernment to recognize deception and the strength to stand firm in Your truth. We pray for their relationships, let them be rooted in You, honoring to Your Word, and free from any sin or ungodliness. If there is any relationship that does not align with Your will, we ask that You would bring conviction and lead them into repentance and restoration.

Lord, we declare that their mind is renewed by Your Word (Romans 12:2). We pray that You would fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let them rest in the knowledge that You are in control and that no evil can touch them without Your permission. We ask that You would distance every wicked influence from them and their loved ones, setting a hedge of protection around them (Job 1:10). Let Your light drive out every darkness, and let Your love cast out all fear (1 John 4:18).

We thank You, Lord, that You are faithful and just to hear and answer our prayers. We trust in Your promises and declare that this one is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). May they walk in the freedom and victory that is theirs in Jesus’ name. We pray all these things according to Your will, in the powerful and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is for you and not against you (Romans 8:31). Memorize and meditate on Scripture to combat fear and anxiety, such as Psalm 23, Psalm 91, and Philippians 4:6-7. Surround yourself with godly believers who can pray with you and encourage you. If these dreams persist, consider speaking with a trusted pastor or counselor who can provide biblical guidance and support. You are not alone in this battle, the Lord is your shepherd, and He will lead you beside still waters (Psalm 23:2).

We hear the weight of these dreams and the fear they’re stirring. It’s exhausting to have your mind replay unsettling images, especially when they target the people you love and your own sense of safety. You’ve been carrying a lot, and we don’t want you to feel alone in that.

When nightmares pile up, they can start to feel like more than random mental noise, like something actively working against you. But often our brains, under stress, simply recycle our deepest worries in distressing ways. The emotional charge can fade when we recognize them as mental debris, not prophecies or powers. That doesn’t make them pleasant, but it can loosen their grip enough for you to take a deep breath.

You’ve done the right thing by bringing all of this honestly to God, naming each person and scenario. We’ll stand with you there. One practical step: if these dreams are ransacking your sleep night after night, please consider mentioning them to your doctor or a trusted counselor. Sleep disruption sometimes has treatable physical roots, and having someone help you sort that out alongside prayer is not a lack of faith, it’s good stewardship of your well-being. You don’t have to tough this out alone.

For now, hold tight to this: your relationships are not ruled by fear, and no one has ultimate control over you outside of God. He does not hand His loved ones over to chaos. As you rest tonight, trust that He watches over your mind and your connections even when you’re unconscious.

Jesus, thank You that You are with this person in every waking and sleeping moment. Quiet their heart and mind, and grant them peaceful, untroubled sleep. Break the loop of these distressing dreams, and let Your perfect love drive out fear. Guard the relationships they treasure, and keep any unhealthy control far from them. Give them wisdom about any human help they may need, and remind them daily that no power rivals Yours. In Your name we ask, amen.

To fix your hope upon the destruction of these dreams is to set your mind on a most wearying and fruitless labour. Dreams, as the scriptures and experience teach, are often but the carnival of thought, a dance of disorder permitted by God, yet not to be trusted as prophetic or given such mastery over the soul. When you plead for their end with such multiplied words, you grant them an importance they do not merit and a power they do not possess. The enemy of souls would keep you in this whirlwind of fear, for it distracts you from the one thing needful. You cry out for deliverance from these visions, but I would urge you to cry out for deliverance from the evil of your own heart, which magnifies them so. Evil thoughts have in them the absolute essence of sin, and to roll them under the tongue, rehearsing every detail of your dread, is to nurse the very malady you seek to cure.

Cast your burden upon the Lord, not merely the external annoyances, but this very inward boil of anxiety. He does not call you to battle against shadows with your own frantic words, but to trust Him who orders all things. What if these dreams do come? Has the Almighty surrendered His throne? Can any caregiver, any authority, any hidden ill-wisher sever you from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus? You plead that none may have control or power over you and your relations. Yet think: the greatest tyranny you now suffer is the tyranny of an unquiet spirit. The Lord Jesus taught us to pray, “Deliver us from the Evil One,” not to spend our hours cataloguing every imagined plot. When you desire that others be thwarted or their schemes demolished, take heed lest you fall into the very sin of returning evil for evil in your heart. Such a course increases the evil and wounds your own soul more deeply than it could ever touch them.

There is a remedy, one remedy alone, for the iniquity that festers in our hearts and for the frightful darkness that gathers in our minds. The blood of Jesus Christ, God’s Son, cleanseth us from all sin. Are these fears sinful? Bring them to the cross. Are these dreams a torment? The rent veil shows that all that separated you from a holy God has been put away by that same sacrifice. You long for perfect safety for your relationships, yet the first relationship to be made right is your own with the Saviour. Seek to have your heart sprinkled from an evil conscience and your body washed with pure water. When Christ is your all, you will not fret over dreams of losing what you love, for you will have found the one treasure that cannot be taken from you. Go now, and pray simply, “Lead me not into temptation, but deliver me from the Evil One,” and then leave your tomorrows and your night-visions in the hands of Him who never slumbers. The Lord will keep you from all evil; He will keep your soul.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You tremble at dreams, at shadows cast by a sleeping mind, yet you do not tremble at the offense you may be giving to the living God while awake. Which is more fearful: a nightmare that vanishes with the morning light, or to fall into the hands of the Almighty with a conscience stained and unrepentant? The evil one sends such phantoms precisely to distract you with empty terrors, so that you neglect the true peril of your soul. For God sometimes permits these vexations that you might wake from slumber and put off the dreams of this life present, lest the day of judgment find you unprepared.

You ask Him to destroy the dreams and keep human authorities far from you. But consider: it is nothing to fall into the hands of men. Caregivers, however overbearing, can only touch the body. What then if God, who sees every secret thought, should require an account of your life? That is fearful indeed. Instead of bargaining with heaven for a mere removal of nightly fears, seek that your heart be cleansed, that you may stand with boldness before the dread judgment seat, not hearing that tearful voice, "I know you not." The remedy for terror is not to demand God act as a servant to erase every discomfort, but to cling to Him with true repentance and a changed life.

Do not treat prayer as a spell to banish what you dislike. He who approaches the holy things unworthily invites a sorer punishment. The dreams that plague you are an affliction, but even affliction can become gain when it drives you to Christ. Count it as loss compared to knowing Him. If your relationships are grounded in virtue, no dream and no earthly power can sunder them; if they are built on sand, your own neglect will destroy them, not the schemes of others. Examine yourself. Are you living as one awake, clothed in good deeds, or still wrapped in the deep slumber of worldly imaginings?

Let this be the day you shake off that sleep. The night is far spent; the day of the Lord draws near. Put on the armor of light, and you will fear no evil, whether in dreams, in the malice of men, or in the unseen realm. Turn your prayers from this frantic pleading toward a single plea: that God would deliver you from the tyranny of sin, that you may pass this toilsome life with a pure conscience and at last attain the glory bestowed by Christ. For a soul that has made its peace with Him has nothing left to dread, not even hell itself, for love casts out all such fear.

Your prayer is full of the anguish of fear, and it's right that you bring these things to the Lord. But as you pray against these dreams and every threat, I want to draw your attention to the root and to the only secure foundation there is. The enemy uses fear as a weapon. He plants it in our hearts, and we can die a thousand deaths fearing one thing that never even happens. These dreams have made you feel that you might lose the people you love, that others might seize control over you, that evil might get a grip on your life. I understand that torment. But the answer begins deeper than simply asking God to demolish the dreams, as urgent as that feels.

Our Father knows what you need before you ask Him. Yet, what He wants for you is not a relationship built on terror that evil might break through and ruin everything. He does not want you running to Him only as a last resort against nightmares. He has called you into an intimate, loving relationship where you cry out to Him, “Abba, Father.” The Son taught us to pray, “Our Father,” because that is the very heart of the relationship. It is not a legal arrangement where God waits to see if you have dotted every i and crossed every t in your prayers before He acts. You are not in a ritualistic relationship with Him, bound back to weak and beggarly elements that keep you in bondage to fear. If you have trusted in Jesus Christ, you have been brought into a living relationship through faith, and the Spirit of adoption in your heart cries out, “Father.” That relationship is the axis on which your entire life revolves.

When you know God as your God, when that vertical relationship is settled and secure, every other relationship and fear begins to find its right proportion. You said you pray you will never lose your close, wanted relationships and that no one would have control or authority over you or them. That comes from a right place, but listen carefully: if your relationship with God is all that it should be, if you are walking in that loving, trusting knowledge of His care, your other relationships will have a way of falling into balance. You cannot make your relationship with your loved ones right by living in constant terror that some evil dream or person will snatch them away. But you can plant your feet on this: you are satisfied through your relationship with God in the Spirit. He is in control, not the caregivers or any other authority. When you truly grasp that He is your Father and you are His, the fear of others having a say over you begins to lose its grip. You don't have to be immobilized.

Bring your requests to Him, yes. Ask Him to guard your mind from these visions and to protect your bonds with those you love. But more than that, ask Him to deepen the consciousness of His own presence in your life. Often, when we rely on frantic pleading to ward off evil, it signals we have lost sight of something vital, that we are reaching for a relic to remind us of God rather than resting in the reality of God with us. His perfect love casts out fear. When you know how much He loves you, you stop walking on that brittle ground of terror. Instead of reviewing the threats in your mind, turn your thoughts to the excellency of knowing Jesus Christ as your Lord. Count everything else as loss compared to that knowledge. There is a kind of life where you spend so much time trying to fix one fearful relationship or one plaguing thought that you end up with a dozen other things going wrong inside. Center your life on Him. If your relationship with God is right, you will have a right relationship with fear itself: you will defeat it every time because your relationship with God is right.

You are not under any evil authority or control, because no one can snatch you out of the Father’s hand. Let those words sink in. You are known of God. He has not given you a spirit of bondage again to fear. He has given you a spirit of adoption. So, when those dreams and fears rise again, instead of only saying “destroy them,” also say, “O God, You are my God.” That is relationship. Then seek Him early. That is fellowship. And from that place, ask Him to preserve your life from the fear of the enemy, because He already has.
