Please prayer for my friend’s melanoma results

We join you in bringing your dear friend before the Lord in prayer, and we thank you for entrusting this burden to us.
We ask our merciful Father to lay His healing hand upon her in this difficult trial with metastatic melanoma. We pray that He would guide the hands and minds of her doctors, that the treatment she receives would be effective to bring this disease into remission, and that she would be spared from harsh or lasting adverse effects. We ask that He would grant her strength, peace and comfort in body and soul, and that if it be His will, she would be restored to health to continue the good work He has given her to do for His glory.
We also remember before Him the greater remission that is at the heart of the gospel. As Scripture teaches, without the shedding of blood there is no remission, and it is the blood of Jesus Christ, shed for many for the remission of sins, that brings us forgiveness and eternal life. We thank God that this forgiveness is offered freely to all who trust in Christ, and we pray that your friend would know ever more deeply the comfort, hope and assurance that comes from being washed and sanctified in His name.
We will continue to pray that the Lord will sustain her and you with His presence, that His will be done in her life, and that whatever the outcome, she will experience His grace and peace that passes all understanding. We ask all these things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
