Please prayer for my friend’s melanoma results

My dear friend who is ### years old is going through a challenging time with metastatic melanoma. Please prayer with me that the treatment she receives will put this horrible disease in remission and she can continue to do God’s work. And may she not have any adverse effects from the treatment. I ask this in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

We join you in lifting up your dear friend before the throne of grace and we thank you for bringing this request in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ, for it is through His name alone that we have access to the Father and it is by His name we are saved. As it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and Jesus Himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. We rejoice that you have come boldly in that precious name.

Our hearts are moved with compassion for your friend in this challenging battle with metastatic melanoma and we stand with you asking for the Lord's healing hand and mercy upon her. Scripture reminds us of the Lord's character as our healer, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3 and For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We also cling to His promise to be near in fear and suffering, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear sister to You. You know her by name, You know the number of her days and every cell in her body, for You knit her together. We ask in Your will that You would guide the hands and minds of her medical team, that the treatment she receives would be effective to put this melanoma into remission. We ask that You would restrain adverse effects and side effects from the treatment, and grant her strength, peace and endurance through each step. Lord, we ask that You would comfort her and her loved ones and let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. Restore her health if it be Your will so that she may continue to do Your work and bear witness to Your goodness and mercy all the days of her life. We trust Your perfect will and Your perfect love, knowing that whether in healing or in sustaining grace, You are working for good for those who love You. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand in the gap for her, to pray without ceasing and to speak words of hope and faith over her. The prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15. Continue to remind her that God is with her in this valley, that He is her strength and that He hears every prayer offered in Jesus' name. We are trusting with you for good results, for healing and for her continued service to the Kingdom.

We were so moved by your love for your friend and your desire to see her continue the work God has given her to do. Waiting for results with metastatic melanoma is such a heavy place to stand with someone you care about, and we are joining you in prayer for her.

A serious, prolonged illness can leave a person feeling fragile and vulnerable, and it often touches every part of life around her as well, sleep and energy, work and family rhythms, even being able to gather with her church. It is understandable to feel helpless when you cannot change the outcome, but your steady, prayerful presence is a real gift to her right now.

One simple way to walk with her in these days is to help her stay supported on both the medical and personal sides. Encourage her to stay closely connected to her care team and to bring any questions or side effects to them promptly, alongside your prayers. And offer concrete help that lightens the load in a way she welcomes, a ride to an appointment, a meal, sitting with her during waiting times, or helping keep a small circle of trusted friends or her church family gently in the loop so she does not feel isolated.

Father, we lift this dear friend to You and ask for Your mercy over her body and her treatment. Give wisdom to her doctors, be present in each step of care, and guard her from harsh effects as much as possible. Grant her strength day by day, comfort her heart in the waiting, and comfort our friend who is interceding for her. Let them both know Your nearness and faithful care. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Your burden has been laid before the Lord and we join our hearts with yours in prayer for your dear friend in this sore trial of metastatic melanoma.

It is a precious thing to call upon God in the day of trouble, for such prayer honors Him in the very act. When the soul is filled with trouble and draws near unto the gates of death, it hopes in His goodness and casts itself upon His mercy, and He loves to have His people draw near to Him in spirit and in truth. The promise stands, Call upon Me in the day of trouble, I will deliver thee and thou shalt glorify Me. A true prayer from one who is near unto the gates of death is a prevailing prayer.

We are reminded that it is the Word of God applied by the Holy Spirit that is the means of healing, and more still, the Lord Jesus Christ Himself is the Word of God whom the Father has sent for the healing of poor sin sick souls. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they urge us to seek a physician, yet God alone can give true healing, and He would have us seek Him with humility. Humility is the fit attitude of prayer, and the humbler we are, the more numerous are our prevailing pleas.

Let us therefore agonize together with you in prayer to God for her.

O Lord our God, the God of all mercy and comfort, we bow before Thee in humility, confessing that we are unworthy of the least of all Thy mercies, yet emboldened to come through the blood of Jesus Christ Thy Son. Look in compassion upon this dear one who suffers under this grievous disease. Thou knowest her frame and her affliction, Thou hast numbered her days and seen her desire to do Thy work. We beseech Thee, lay Thy healing hand upon her. If it be Thy gracious will, grant that the treatment appointed may be made effectual to put this melanoma into remission, and keep her from adverse effects that would further afflict her body. Spare her, we pray, and restore her strength that she may yet serve Thee and glorify Thy name in the land of the living.

We ask not as those who would demand, but as servants who plead Thy promise and Thy goodness. Hide not Thy face from Thy servant, for she is in trouble. Hear our cry, O God, attend unto our prayer. And if in Thy sovereign wisdom Thou shouldst ordain otherwise, give her and those who love her a manifest hope in Christ, a quiet trust in Thy goodness, and grace to wait only upon God, for expectation is from Him.

We offer this prayer through Jesus Christ our only Redeemer and Advocate, who ever liveth to make intercession for us, in whose name alone is salvation and healing. Amen.
