please pray for me.............. i dont seem to feel a closeness with our Lord. i make myself go to mass. i want a closeness with him,this is my hearts desire. thank you roxane

Father, I pray for this woman to have a closer walk with You, to feel Your blessed presence. Father, Your word says that if we will draw nigher to You, then You are faithful to draw nigher to us. You have never let me down, everytime I have made a step toward You, You have taken several towards me. You always move in abundance towards us, we just have to start by turning to You. Father, I also pray that all people will be loosed from doctrines that are designed to keep us from the truth, doctrines that give the appearence of service, but keep them in bondage by not showing them the truth in Your word. You commandment to us involvong prayer, was that we bring our petitions directly to Your throne, and that Jesus has been made the high priest to make intercessions for us. We pray directly to You, covered in the blood of Jesus, wrapped in His righteousness. Lord, I pray for all to find the truth in Your word, and to be set free in this truth. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Roxane, I know that there are people who will criticize me for what I am about to tell you, but my duty is to the Lord, and no other. If the mass you are speaking about is the Catholic mass, then that is the biggest hinderence to your walk with the Lord. Jesus taught us how to pray to the Father, not to His earthly mother. Mary was blessed among women to give birth to our Lord, but her race is over, and we were never commanded to pray to her or any other person who has passed on before us. All prayers to her or any other identity other than God Himself, is false religion. There are many believers in God, who I believe are really wanting to serve God, that are being trapped in the lies that this church is based on. It is a false doctrine, and a false hope, that is trapping its members from living their lives in the truth. I beg you to visit a Spirit filled church, ask God directly for guidence, open your heart to Him, and He will reveal the truth to you. I pray for you, and believe me, God, myself and all Christians love you, but this church is not based on the word of God.
