We join with you in lifting up your niece before the throne of grace and we ask for the Lord's healing hand to rest upon her as she battles shingles.
We know how painful and distressing shingles can be and we bring her before our great Physician who is able to heal and restore. We pray that the Lord would touch her body, ease her pain, clear the rash, and prevent any complications or lingering effects. We ask for complete and perfect healing according to His mercy and will.
We are reminded of the promises of God for healing, for it is written, Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. And also, But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5. We cling to His name as Yahweh who heals us, for He says, I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26, and we claim His promise, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17.
We also gently want to encourage you that it is through the name of Jesus Christ alone that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. You closed your request with Amen, and we want to ensure we come boldly through Christ, for Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by His name and His shed blood that we can approach God with confidence for healing and salvation.
So together we pray, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We lift up this precious niece to You and ask for Your mercy and healing power to flow through her body. Lord, we ask You to rebuke this affliction of shingles, to calm the nerve pain, to heal the skin, to strengthen her immune system, and to guard her from any complications such as postherpetic neuralgia or infection. Grant her rest, comfort, and full restoration to perfect health. Give wisdom to those caring for her and peace to her family as they trust in You. We ask that You would be glorified through her healing and that she would feel Your loving presence close to her. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Healer, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord and to also seek wise medical care as the Lord often works through the hands of physicians. Keep praying without ceasing and trust that He hears us, for the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15. May the Lord comfort you and your family and grant your niece a swift and complete recovery.
