We join together with you in prayer over this daily need and we understand the frustration you felt when your last order went so poorly, especially when you are unable to drive and must rely on delivery services.
We know that God cares about even the small details of our lives and He invites us to bring every concern to Him. We are reminded in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And also in 1 Peter 5:7, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. He knows your needs, including your daily bread, and Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:31-33, Therefore don't be anxious, saying, What will we eat? or What will we drink? or With what will we be clothed? For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. We take comfort in Philippians 4:19, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
We lift this food order up to the Father together. We pray in Jesus name that all goes well today, that the order is prepared correctly, handled with care, and delivered on time and without any problems or disappointment. We pray for the drivers and workers who handle it, that God would give them diligence and kindness, and we pray that He would grant you peace and patience as you wait, replacing that feeling of being stuck and frustrated with trust in His provision. We also pray that you would be given a thankful heart even in these inconveniences, for we are taught in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 to give thanks in all circumstances.
We noticed your request closed with Amen but did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently encourage you about this because it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And we are told in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We are saved by believing that Jesus died for our sins and rose again, and by confessing Him as Lord as Romans 10:9 teaches. It is in His name that our prayers are heard, so we always come before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ.
We pray all of this in the precious name of Jesus, trusting that God hears us and will provide for you with His perfect care. Amen.
