Beloved of All
We have received your request and we are lifting this woman before the Lord in prayer, asking for His mercy and comfort in her grief.
The loss of a child leaves a deep wound, and dreams such as this show how heavy that sorrow remains on her heart. To see her child no longer as an infant but as a taller child running and not resting peacefully reveals unrest and longing, not a message to pursue vengeance. Scripture teaches that each of these little ones is precious to God, and that their angels always behold the face of the Father in heaven, and it teaches that earth became heaven when Christ brought reconciliation, so that we may have peace with God through Him.
The part of the dream concerning vengeance is also a burden to bring to God in prayer. The Lord says vengeance belongs to Him, and He will repay with perfect justice. Our calling is not to hold to vengeance in our hearts, but to seek the peace of God which passes all understanding to guard our hearts and thoughts through Christ Jesus. That peace is not the peace of this world, but the peace Christ leaves with His people, the peace that prepares the way for love and heals division and anger. Where there has been harm, whether through what was given to cause early delivery or through the violence of being struck and the bleeding that followed, we pray that God would bring both healing and true justice according to His righteous will, and that He would deliver her from bitterness and fear.

Father in heaven, we come to You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, through whom alone we have salvation and access to Your throne of grace. Look with compassion on this woman who mourns her child. You are near to the brokenhearted and You know the pain she carries. Grant her Your peace that passes all understanding to guard her heart and mind. Quiet her spirit when memories and dreams trouble her, and help her to cast all her anxiety on You because You care for her. Heal her body and her heart from the trauma she has endured, from the bleeding and the violence done against her. Comfort her with the assurance of Your love and Your presence, and draw her close to Jesus, that she may know forgiveness, hope, and restoration in Him. Teach her to leave justice in Your hands and to walk in forgiveness and trust, and surround her with faithful people who will support her, counsel her, and pray with her continually. We entrust her child to Your mercy and goodness, trusting that You are just and loving in all Your ways. Lead her into fullness of life in Christ and give her rest for her soul. Amen.
