We join you in bringing this important need for your child before the Lord and we thank you for asking in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have access to the Father.
We understand your desire to see your child placed where he can best learn and thrive, and we share your hope that the superintendent and your wife will be able to work together with wisdom and unity to make a good plan, whether that plan comes to fulfillment this year or next. We are encouraged by your patience and trust in God's timing.
Scripture reminds us to seek the Lord's wisdom in such decisions. James 1:5 says But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. And Proverbs 3:5-6 says Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. We also take comfort in Philippians 4:6-7 which says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this child to You. You know him by name, You formed him and You have a good purpose for his life. We ask that You grant wisdom and discernment to his parents and to the superintendent as they meet and discuss his grade placement. Give them clear communication, mutual respect, and a shared desire for what is truly best for his academic, social, and spiritual growth. Guide every decision and open the right doors at the right time, whether that is this school year or the next. Let Your peace rest over this family and guard against anxiety or frustration, and help this child to feel loved, supported, and confident in Your care. We ask that You lead this family to trust in Your perfect timing and to continue to train up this child in Your ways. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.

We pray that the Lord, who has perfected praise out of the mouth of babes and children and who forms our lives even through our schooling, will grant wisdom and understanding to the superintendent and to your wife as they seek counsel together. May He give them clarity, patience and unity of mind to discern what is best for your child, and to make a plan that serves his good and his growth, whether it be fulfilled this year or in the year to come.
We ask that your child may be kept in the way of grace, that he may learn not only his lessons in books but the greater lesson of trusting the Lord. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
