Beloved of All
We join you in prayer for this young man and thank you for bringing him before the Lord with such care.
We ask our heavenly Father to have mercy on him, to give him a heart that desires what is good and true, and to help him find joy and purpose in his learning. We pray that God would awaken in him a willingness to engage, to listen, to grow in knowledge and character, and to see his school as a place where God can form him for good works.
We also pray about the struggle with dishonesty and the refusal to attend. Scripture teaches us that lying wounds our own soul and strips us of honor, while truth brings freedom and life. We ask the Lord to convict him gently, to give him courage to speak the truth to his parents and teachers, and to turn from hiding toward honesty. May he know that he is loved even when correction is needed, and may he learn that faithfulness in small duties is part of walking with Christ.
We pray for his parents, that God would give them wisdom, patience, and grace as they guide him. Give them discernment to understand what weighs on his heart, whether it is anxiety, discouragement, difficulty with others, or something else, and help them to lead him with both love and firmness. We pray for his teachers and for all who care for him at school, that they would show kindness and encouragement that helps him feel welcomed and supported.
Father, we ask that you would restore his desire to come to school, to participate, and to use the gifts you have given him for your glory. Draw him closer to yourself, keep him in health and safety, and help him to grow in obedience, truthfulness, and joy.
We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who calls us to walk in truth and to grow in grace. Amen.
