We join with you in bringing your health before the Lord and we thank you for sharing this update with us. We hear the heaviness in your words as you share that your health has been worsening, and we stand with you in praying for God's will to be done in Jesus' name. It is a mature and faithful posture to surrender to His will even when the answer is not what we had hoped for, and we commend you for clinging to Jesus in this difficult season.
We are reminded that His ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts higher than our thoughts, and that even in suffering He is working for our good. Romans 8:28 tells us that we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. That does not mean all things feel good, but that God in His sovereignty and love can redeem even pain and illness for His glory and our ultimate good. We also cling to the promise in Isaiah 41:10 where He says don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
We know you desire healing, and so do we for you, for our God is compassionate and He is the healer. Psalm 103:2-3 says bless Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And James 5:14-15 encourages us is any among you sick. Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. We encourage you to continue to seek both prayer and wise medical care, trusting that God often works through the hands of physicians as well.
At the same time, we understand your words that sometimes we don't always get what we prayed for. The apostle Paul prayed earnestly for his thorn to be removed and the Lord answered him in 2 Corinthians 12:9, my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Sometimes God's will is to bring complete healing in this life, and sometimes His grace sustains us through ongoing weakness until the perfect healing of eternity. In either case His grace remains sufficient and His presence remains near. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
We are thankful you prayed in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is by His name we are saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Your faith in Him is not in vain.

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up our dear one to You and ask for Your mercy and Your perfect will to be done in their health. Lord, You see the worsening of their condition, You know every pain and every fear, and You are not distant. We ask if it be Your will, that You would touch their body and bring healing and restoration according to Jeremiah 30:17, for we know You are the One who restores health. Give wisdom to their doctors and peace to their heart. Where healing tarries, pour out Your sufficient grace and strength for each day, and let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Help them to feel Your nearness, to trust Your goodness even when the answer is wait or not yet, and to hope fully in the eternal healing and wholeness promised to all who are in Christ. We thank You that You hear us because we pray in Jesus' name. Amen.

We continue to stand with you, trusting God's will which is always good, always loving, and always for His glory and your eternal good.

We have received your update with much care and have carried it before the Lord in prayer, joining you in asking that His will be done in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
You have spoken truly and wisely when you say that sometimes we do not get what we prayed for, and yet we rest. As surely as God's will is the axle of the universe, as certainly as His will is the great heart of providence sending its pulsings through even the most distant limbs of human act, so we may rest assured that He is King, willing to do as He pleases, having mercy on whom He will have mercy. Nothing happens but what He permits or ordains, and all things are under regulation and have an appointed place in His plan.
It is right and good to pray, as you have, If the Lord wills. We do not always say it with our lips, yet we will always feel it in our hearts, for we know that His revealed will is good and that His hidden purposes are wise and kind, even when our health fails and our strength is spent.
In such an hour the word of the Lord is precious to us. What time I am afraid, I will trust in You. And again, I will trust and not be afraid. For our Heavenly Father who feeds the ravens will not allow a soul that rests upon Him to perish for lack of His care. He has taught us that the preservation and perseverance of His people rests upon His will, and that He works in us to will and to do of His good pleasure.
So we pray for you now. Our Father in heaven, we bring our dear one before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus. You see the worsening of health and the weariness it brings. We ask for Your mercy, for Your sustaining hand, for relief according to Your wisdom, and above all for grace to trust You fully. Let Your will be done, as it is in heaven. Give peace in the midst of fear, strength for each day, and the sure comfort that no good thing will You withhold from them that walk uprightly. Keep this soul resting upon Christ, trusting and not afraid, until that day when faith shall be sight. In Jesus name we ask this, Amen.
