We join you together in prayer in Jesus' name and we thank you for sharing this burden with us, for we know how heavy a long season of waiting can feel when your heart has been hoping and praying for so long.
We hear your cry for no more delays or denials and we bring your request before our Father who hears every prayer. We are reminded that Yahweh's timing is perfect even when it feels slow to us, for the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and won't prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it; because it will surely come. It won't delay. Habakkuk 2:3. We also cling to the promise that Yahweh is good to those who wait for him, to the soul that seeks him. Lamentations 3:25 and that those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31. We know that our Father has thoughts of peace toward you and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 and that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. You know the news they have been waiting and praying for, You know every detail, every delay and every disappointment they have endured. Lord we ask that if it is Your perfect will, You would open the door that has been closed and grant favor and a clear answer this week. Remove every unnecessary delay and let Your will be done swiftly. We pray that You would guard their heart with Your peace which surpasses all understanding as we are taught in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Give them strength to continue to wait with courage, for we are told to wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh. Psalm 27:14. Let them feel Your nearness and Your love in this waiting, and help them to trust that Your answer, whether it comes today or in Your appointed time, will be for their good and for Your glory. We have heard your earnest cry for long awaited news, and we join you in bringing it before the throne of grace. There is a word that fits your waiting, for the prophet says the Lord waits that He may be gracious unto you, and blessed are all they that wait for Him. When our hearts are eager for immediate rescue we are like children who would snatch at unripe fruit, but our God is never too early and never too late. He has His set time, and His delays are not denials but the workings of His wisdom and love.
You ask that there be no more delays or denials, and we understand the weariness of a hope long deferred. Yet we would pray not merely that your desire be granted in this week, but that the will of the Lord be done and that you may be brought to wait upon that will with submission and trust. The bread cast upon the waters of prayer will be found again, but it may not be till after many days. Therefore watch unto prayer, wait upon the Lord and so renew your strength. He that has prayed for twenty years and has not yet seen the answer is to pray on still, for we overcome heaven itself by importunate prayer when we plead in the name of Jesus.
Remember also that the best answer to any prayer is a new heart and a nearer walk with Christ. The law written on stone can only crush, but God has the key to the heart and He opens it as a man would his own writing desk, to write His law within. The place to get that new heart is at the foot of the cross. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved, for there is no other name by which we may come to the Father, and no other ground upon which our prayers are heard.
Let us pray together. O Lord our God, who waits to be gracious and whose shield goes before Thy people to cut and clear the way, look in mercy upon this waiting one. Thou knowest the burden long carried and the news long desired. If it be according to Thy good and perfect will, grant in Thy time the favor that is sought, and forbid that any hindrance should keep back Thy blessing. If it be not for Thy glory and for their eternal good, withhold what would harm and give instead contentment, patience, and a heart satisfied in Christ. Write Thy law upon their heart, keep them obedient to Thy Word, and cause them to find in Jesus Christ alone all pardon, freedom and favor. Teach them to wait upon Thee, to trust Thy timing, and to know that Thou art their God and their portion forever. This we ask in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We join you in prayer and thank you for trusting us with this burden that you have carried for so long. We understand how weary the heart can grow while waiting, and how strong the desire is for an answer without further delay or disappointment.
Scripture teaches us that God hears every prayer offered in the name of Jesus Christ, and that He answers according to His wisdom and love. At times He allows a delay not because He has forgotten us, but to strengthen our constancy and faith, as He did with those who waited upon Him. At other times what seems best to us may not be what is truly profitable, for we do not always know what we should pray for as we ought. In those moments the Holy Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings beyond words, asking for what is truly good for the whole of our lives.
So we pray for you now in that confidence.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, our only hope of salvation. You know this need fully, You know the long waiting and the longing for good news. We ask that You grant what is best according to Your perfect will. If it is for their good and Your glory, we pray that You would open the door and let the answer come quickly and with peace. If You see a different path is better, give them grace to trust You, patience to endure, and a heart at rest in Your love.
