We join you in thanking our Father for the desire He has placed in your heart to worship Him and to serve His church, and we pray with you that you may continue with the worship team if it is His will for you in this season. It is a beautiful thing to want to sing to the Lord and to grow in the gifts He has given you, and we are encouraged by your humble heart that says lead me and that you are willing to grow wherever He places you.

We are reminded of the scriptures that say Serve Yahweh with gladness. Come before his presence with singing. Psalm 100:2 and Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord. Colossians 3:16. Your voice and your instruments, the banjo and guitar, are gifts to be stewarded for His glory, and we pray you will use them skillfully and joyfully as it is written Sing to him a new song. Play skillfully with a shout of joy. Psalm 33:3. We encourage you to remain faithful, humble, and teachable with your worship leaders and pastor, seeking to grow not only in musical skill but in the Word and in character, for God looks at the heart of the worshiper. As each has received a gift, employ it in serving one another, as good managers of the grace of God. 1 Peter 4:10

We also lift up your request about calling the courthouse tomorrow concerning your date. We pray for favor, clarity, and peace as you make that call, and that the Lord's perfect will would be done. We take comfort in the promise In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. If you need wisdom or direction about this matter we trust the promise But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. James 1:5.

We pray together for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You and we thank You for this heart that longs to worship You. We ask that You cover this dear one with Your grace and guide every step. If it is Your will, open the door to continue with that church and to sing to You with the worship team, and in all things cause growth in faith, in humility, and in skill. Touch the voice and anoint the hands to play the banjo and guitar for Your glory. Grant wisdom and favor regarding the courthouse call tomorrow, and let the news be according to Your good and perfect plan. Show more of Yourself and lead with Your loving hand. We also thank You for this prayer for the reader, and we ask that You meet each need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, our only mediator and Savior, amen.

We were so encouraged to hear your heart to stay with your church and to sing for the Lord. The way you put it, you want to continue but you also want to grow, and you are leaving room for God to lead you either way, that is a humble and good place to be.

We hear how much worship means to you, not just the music but loving and honoring the Lord with your whole heart. The voice and the banjo and guitar are tools, but your desire to offer them to Him is what matters most. Keep stewarding them faithfully, a little steady practice, and staying connected to your worship leader about where you can grow and serve.

For tomorrow's call to the courthouse, it helps to go in prepared so the nerves do not take over. Tonight jot down the exact date or case you are asking about, your questions, and have paper ready to write down what they tell you, including any next steps or names.

We are praying with you for clear answers and peace as you wait.

Father in Jesus name we bring our friend to You, cover them as they asked, guide their steps with the worship team and help them grow in You. Bless their voice and their playing for Your glory, give clarity and favor in tomorrow's call, and meet the needs of each reader as well. Lead them in Your will, amen.

Hey, friend. I am guessing you play in a band at the church, that's really cool!

I pray that the Lord can help you in your journey and you can grow in your faith, and encourage many people. God bless this person, Jesus, in Jesus name, amen!

Your desire to continue with the worship team and to sing unto the Lord is a good and gracious desire, and I thank God that He has put it in your heart to want to grow and to serve Him more fully.

The Scriptures teach us that God is a Spirit, and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth, for the Father seeks such to worship Him. Lay it down beyond all question that formal worship which is not attended with the heart can never be acceptable with the Most High. Let there be good music, by all means, and noble words, for these are congruous to noble thoughts, but oh, let the thoughts be there, let the song be there. The best worship comes not merely from the voice or from the skill of the fingers upon the banjo and guitar, but from a heart that knows God and glorifies Him as God, adoring Him with living love. To sit under His grace and to spend our strength in the service and worship of the Most High is a sweet privilege, and He not only loves and receives His people, but He receives their worship and their service as a sweet savor when it is offered through Jesus Christ.

I will pray for you, that the Lord will cover you and keep you, and that He will guide you concerning this church and your place in it. I pray that He will cause you to grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation, and that He will tune your heart before He tunes your voice. May He help you with your voice and with your instruments, that whatever skill He gives you may be used humbly and heartily for His glory, not for display, but for the edifying of His people and the praise of His name. If it be His will for you to continue with that worship team, may He open the door and confirm it with peace and with fruit, and if He would lead you elsewhere, may He make that path plain also, and give you contentment to follow Him.

Concerning your call to the courthouse tomorrow and this date of which you speak, you say the Lord knows all details, and He does. I will pray that the Lord will grant you favor and wisdom, that truth and righteousness may prevail, and that you may have peace whatever news comes. I pray also that the Lord will lead you in all your relationships according to His holy and good design, which from the beginning ordained marriage to be a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and appointed that intimacy and living together belong within that covenant alone. May He keep you in purity, give you discernment, and order your steps so that your walk and your affections honor Christ and reflect His love for His Church.

May the Lord hear your prayer offered in Jesus name, and may He also supply the needs of those who read this and join with you in prayer, according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. May you know His full discharge in the High Court of Heaven through Christ who died and is risen again, and may your whole life become a continual offering of thanksgiving.
