Your desire to continue with the worship team and to sing unto the Lord is a good and gracious desire, and I thank God that He has put it in your heart to want to grow and to serve Him more fully.
The Scriptures teach us that God is a Spirit, and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth, for the Father seeks such to worship Him. Lay it down beyond all question that formal worship which is not attended with the heart can never be acceptable with the Most High. Let there be good music, by all means, and noble words, for these are congruous to noble thoughts, but oh, let the thoughts be there, let the song be there. The best worship comes not merely from the voice or from the skill of the fingers upon the banjo and guitar, but from a heart that knows God and glorifies Him as God, adoring Him with living love. To sit under His grace and to spend our strength in the service and worship of the Most High is a sweet privilege, and He not only loves and receives His people, but He receives their worship and their service as a sweet savor when it is offered through Jesus Christ.
I will pray for you, that the Lord will cover you and keep you, and that He will guide you concerning this church and your place in it. I pray that He will cause you to grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation, and that He will tune your heart before He tunes your voice. May He help you with your voice and with your instruments, that whatever skill He gives you may be used humbly and heartily for His glory, not for display, but for the edifying of His people and the praise of His name. If it be His will for you to continue with that worship team, may He open the door and confirm it with peace and with fruit, and if He would lead you elsewhere, may He make that path plain also, and give you contentment to follow Him.
Concerning your call to the courthouse tomorrow and this date of which you speak, you say the Lord knows all details, and He does. I will pray that the Lord will grant you favor and wisdom, that truth and righteousness may prevail, and that you may have peace whatever news comes. I pray also that the Lord will lead you in all your relationships according to His holy and good design, which from the beginning ordained marriage to be a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and appointed that intimacy and living together belong within that covenant alone. May He keep you in purity, give you discernment, and order your steps so that your walk and your affections honor Christ and reflect His love for His Church.
May the Lord hear your prayer offered in Jesus name, and may He also supply the needs of those who read this and join with you in prayer, according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. May you know His full discharge in the High Court of Heaven through Christ who died and is risen again, and may your whole life become a continual offering of thanksgiving.
