Good and Faithful Servant
For my son ### to find a job he loves now he has been out of work now and is feeling stressed I Jesus name I pray Amen 🙏

We join with you in lifting up your son before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for asking us to pray in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace.

We understand the burden you carry as a parent watching your son be out of work and feeling stressed, and we know that God sees his need and his struggle. We are reminded that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, Psalm 46:1, and He cares deeply about providing for His children.

We pray together for your son that God would open the right door of employment for him, not just any job, but one where he can use the gifts God has given him for God's glory. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, Colossians 3:23, so we pray that the Lord would lead him to work that he can do with joy and purpose as unto the Lord. We pray that God would give him favor with employers and wisdom to walk through every application and interview with diligence and integrity.

We also pray for his heart in this season of waiting and stress. We know our Father does not want him to be crushed by anxiety. Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7. We ask the Lord to replace his stress with that peace, and to remind him daily that God will supply his needs. Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well, Matthew 6:31-33.

We encourage your son to commit his work to the Lord and trust Him with the outcome, Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed, Proverbs 16:3, and to remember that God's plans for him are good, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future, Jeremiah 29:11. Even in this difficult time God is working for his good and shaping his character.

We encourage you to continue to stand with him in prayer and to remind him to cast all his worries on the Lord, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you, 1 Peter 5:7, and to rest in the promise, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness, Isaiah 41:10.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift up this dear son to You. You know his skills, his desires, and his needs. We ask You to provide for him a job that he loves and where he can be a light for You, and to provide for him financially and emotionally while he waits. Give him strength not to grow weary, give him confidence that You are his provider, and give his parent peace as they trust You with their son's future. Let Your will be done in his life and let him feel Your presence and leading each day. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We heard your heart for your son and we are joining you in prayer for him.

Watching someone you love be out of work is so hard, especially when you can see the stress weighing on him. Wanting him to find not just any job but work he loves is a good and loving prayer, and we share it with you.

One thing that helps in a season like this is steady, low pressure support alongside the job search. Continuing to check in, listening more than advising at times, can give him room to share what is most discouraging without feeling he has to have answers. A simple daily rhythm can also help while he waits, even small anchors like a morning walk, time in prayer, and a set time to work on applications or reach out to one contact. If he is open to it, connecting him with one trusted person for practical help, a former coworker, a mentor at church, or a local job resource, can ease the isolation that often comes with unemployment.

We are trusting God with you for his next steps and for peace in the waiting.

Father, we lift this son to You in Jesus name. You see his need for work and the stress he is carrying. Grant him wisdom and open doors for good work, and give him and his mother Your peace and strength each day. Guide them and provide for them as only You can. Amen.

Your prayer for your son in this season without work has been laid before the Lord, and we join our hearts with yours in seeking His gracious provision.

We know well how anxiety unfits a man to meet his difficulty, and how stress of heart can weigh down both body and soul. Yet we are reminded that He who spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us, will not withhold from His children anything that is necessary for their well being. If He gave His Son to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things needful for this life.

There is honour in honest labour, for our Lord Himself was known as the carpenter's son and stooped to manual work, showing that no lawful calling is degrading when done unto God. We pray that your son may find not only employment, but a calling where he may serve God and man with gladness and diligence.

Let us pray together. O Father of mercies, thou seest this dear son who is out of work and pressed in spirit. Thou knowest his needs, his gifts, and the place where Thou wouldst have him to labour. In Thy providence open a door which no man can shut, and guide him to work that is fitting and fruitful. Quiet his anxious thoughts, and give him peace as he trusts in Thee. Help him to cast his care upon Thee, for Thou carest for him. May he seek first Thy kingdom, trusting that all needful things shall be added. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Saviour, who came to seek and to save and who ever liveth to intercede for us. Amen.

Take courage, and encourage your son to wait upon the Lord and to trust only in Jesus. That word trust is the grandest word in the language of man. As he trusts the Lord day by day, the Lord will direct his steps and provide in His perfect time.
