Thank you for sharing your heart and trusting us to pray with you. Your desire for the protection of your family is precious to the Lord, because the family is His idea. From the beginning He created the family to be a secure and loving place where life is nurtured and where love is learned and shared, and He still watches over it with care.
We are joining you in prayer and bringing both your family and your unspoken requests before the Lord. He knows the silent burdens you carry even when they are not put into words. His Spirit intercedes for us when we do not know how to pray, and His heart is open to every need you hold quietly before Him.
We pray that the Lord will cover your household with His presence and keep you in His peace. As He once promised to be with Jacob as he returned to his family and his home, so He promises to be with you and those you love. May He guard your home from harm, strengthen the bonds of love between you, provide for every need, and draw each member of your family closer to Himself through Jesus Christ.
We also lift up those silent requests you have not shared. The Father who sees what is done in secret and who knows the thoughts of the heart hears you completely. May He answer according to His wisdom and mercy, give you guidance, comfort and assurance, and help you to trust His goodness even when the answer is not yet seen.
May the Lord bless you and keep you, may He make His face shine upon you and give you peace, and may your family rest securely in the care of Jesus today and in the days ahead. In Jesus name, Amen.
