We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting up your family in prayer. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Heavenly Father, and we are grateful that you have acknowledged Him in your prayer. Jesus said, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." (John 16:23-24 WEB). We stand on this promise as we intercede for you.
Father God, we ask for Your divine protection over this family. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, as it is written, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." (Psalm 91:11 WEB). Shield them from physical harm, spiritual attacks, and any schemes of the enemy. We also lift up the silent requests of their hearts, knowing that You see and know all things. "Before they call, I will answer. While they are yet speaking, I will hear." (Isaiah 65:24 WEB). May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
We pray for unity and love to abound in this family. May they be rooted and grounded in Your love, Father, and may they grow in grace and knowledge of You. Help them to bear one another’s burdens and to forgive as You have forgiven them. "Above all things, be earnest in your love among yourselves, for love covers a multitude of sins." (1 Peter 4:8 WEB). Let this family be a light in their community, reflecting Your love and truth.
If there are any areas in this family’s life that do not align with Your Word, Lord, we ask for conviction and repentance. May they walk in holiness and righteousness, turning away from anything that displeases You. "But just as he who called you is holy, you yourselves also be holy in all of your behavior; because it is written, 'You shall be holy; for I am holy.'" (1 Peter 1:15-16 WEB).
We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in You with all their hearts, leaning not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5 WEB).
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
