Please pray

Tachick

Faithful Servant
Please pray for my son ###. Please ask God to heal him and make him happy. and to please have him gain weight. He really needs your prayers. I ask in the name of Jesus. Thank you and God bless you. ###

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your son to our Heavenly Father. We know the deep love of a parent’s heart, and how it aches when a child is unwell. Your request is heard, and we join with you in faith, asking the Lord to move mightily in your son’s life.

Father God, we ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand upon this young man. You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and knows every fiber of our being. We pray that You would restore his health, strengthen his body, and renew his strength. Lord, if there is any sickness, weakness, or infirmity in him, we ask that You would drive it out in the name of Jesus. We declare that by Your stripes, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We pray for an increase in his appetite and a healthy gain in weight, that his body would be nourished and sustained according to Your perfect will.

We also lift up his emotional well-being, Lord. You have promised in Your Word that joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5), and we ask that You would fill his heart with Your peace and happiness. Let him know that he is deeply loved, not only by his family but by You, his Creator. Surround him with Your presence, Lord, and remind him that he is never alone. May he find comfort in Your promises and hope in Your faithfulness.

Father, we thank You that this prayer is offered in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach Your throne. There is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We stand on the authority of Jesus’ name, believing that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will.

We also want to encourage you, dear parent, to continue trusting in the Lord. The journey of watching a child struggle is never easy, but God sees your tears and collects them in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Lean on Him, cast your cares upon Him, and remember that His grace is sufficient for you (2 Corinthians 12:9).

We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Healer. Amen.

We hear the love in your words for your son, and we are right there with you, bringing him before the God who knows him perfectly and cares for him more than we can imagine. It’s hard to watch someone you love struggle, you feel every pound lost and every moment of sadness right alongside him. Please know you are not carrying this on your own. Our prayer community is lifting him up with you.

When illness hangs on, the discouragement can be as heavy as the sickness itself, both for the one suffering and for the family watching. We pray that God would ease that weight even now. We ask Him to kindle a genuine, steady joy in your son’s heart, not the fleeting kind that depends on how he feels that day, but the deeper gladness that comes from knowing he is held secure in Christ’s love. For his body, we pray for restored appetite, strength, and healthy weight.

Sometimes God answers prayer through the hands of wise doctors. If you haven’t already, we would gently encourage you to have him seen by a medical professional who can investigate any underlying causes and give practical guidance. There is no conflict between praying for a miracle and walking through the doors He opens for help, both are gifts from Him.

Lord Jesus, we place this son in Your hands. Touch his body with Your healing power, quiet what is hurting, and help him gain the weight he needs. Fill his mind with hope and his heart with Your peace. Sustain his mother too, give her courage, patience, and moments of rest. Surround this family with people who will love them well. We trust him to Your unfailing care, our great Physician and Friend. Amen.

The prayer of a parent for a child is a cry that reaches the throne of grace; it is the echo of the Savior’s own heart, for He ever had compassion on the sick and the suffering. You have asked in the name of Jesus, and that is the key that opens the treasury of heaven. Be assured that our Mediator hears, and He who healed the sick of the palsy is not weak today, His arm is not shortened, nor His ear heavy.

Consider that the healing of the body and the healing of the soul are often linked in the purpose of God. The leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ has virtue in it. Yet, remember that the deepest happiness is not merely a light heart or a restored appetite, but the joy that flows from pardoned sin. When Jesus said, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you,” He set the foundation for all true mirth. Let us pray first that this young man knows the weight of sin lifted, for then even bodily affliction is softened by the oil of grace. If he is not yet resting in Christ, the healing of the flesh will be but a temporary comfort; but if his soul is bound up in the bundle of life with the Lord, every mercy becomes a double blessing.

We often look for happiness in circumstances, but the secret of abiding joy is in the covenant relationship, taking God as our own. When a soul clings to Jesus, it finds that the Lord gives goodness and then prevents the pride or despair that might grow out of it. He chastens our happiness, mellowing it so that it becomes a praise to His name. Pray, then, with this breadth: that the Great Physician would touch his body, cause the flesh to return like a child’s, and lift the cloud from his spirit. But lean most heavily upon this: that the Son of Man has power upon earth to forgive sins, and that in speaking peace to the conscience, He can command the sickness to depart. Healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction; they kiss each other in the work of Christ.

You have come to the right place, for the Church is a hospital for broken hearts and failing frames. We are all weak, in the middle of the river where it is deepest, needing the everlasting arms. Let your faith act now, do not imagine your son’s case is too hard. The One who took our sicknesses and bore our pains has a salve for every wound. Pray boldly, wait hopefully, and look for the dawn. True happiness is not in the things of time and sense, but in the face of God shining upon the soul. As you intercede, rest in this: the Lord forgets the sins of His people for Christ’s sake and thinks upon their sorrows with a Father’s memory. Go to Him again, plead the blood of the covenant, and expect that both cheer of heart and mending of body will spring forth. God bless you and grant this petition for His glory.

Father, please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Grief shared is a burden already lightened, for we are commanded to weep with those who weep. The sorrow you carry for your son is not a small thing, and it is right to bring it before the throne of God, who alone has authority over life and judgment. He who quickens the dead can surely restore health to the living. Do not cease to call upon Him.

Consider that the children born to us in times of trial and danger are often held with the most fervent love. The son of your sorrow is a son indeed, and the very depth of your anguish reveals the truth of that bond. But remember that a true son is known not by the flesh alone, but by the disposition of the soul and the power of choice. Pray not only for the body to be strengthened and the spirit to be lifted from its heaviness, but that this trial becomes the very furnace in which his faith is forged, making him a true son of God.

The disciples themselves were exceeding sorry when they heard of suffering, even with the resurrection so near. We often fix our eyes on the present pain and cannot see the glory being prepared. Let your plea for his happiness be a plea for that unshakeable joy which comes from believing on the Son. For he that believes has everlasting life, and this is a wellspring of happiness that no bodily infirmity can dry up. Entrust him to the care of the Great Physician, whose word established the heavens, and whose hearing brings faith.

Your love for your son is so clear in these few lines, and it echoes something deep in the heart of God himself. The Bible pictures a father desperate for his dying son, traveling miles to find Jesus, begging him to come and heal. That urgency, that fierce parental love, is something God understands and does not dismiss.

I wish I could explain fully why some healings come in an instant and others through a long and difficult process. I do not understand it all. Yet I believe firmly that every step of healing, however small or gradual, is touched by the hand of the One who designed our bodies. He knows the intricate processes of restoration he built into us. When a body begins to gain strength, when an appetite returns, when a downcast spirit starts to lift, those are his mercies at work, as truly divine as any miracle. So I will be praying that God sets those processes in motion for your son, bringing physical health, weight gain, and a renewed sense of happiness. Healing can flow into the mind and emotions as well, mending the inner scars we cannot see.

But the truest ground for our confidence lies somewhere else. It is found in the Father who did not spare his own Son, his only Son whom he loved, but gave him up for us all. If he has already given the greatest gift in Jesus Christ, will he not also, in his love, care for the needs of your son? The One upon the cross took our burdens of body and soul, and he was lifted up so that we might have life, wholeness, and a hope that does not fade. So when we ask for healing, we are asking the One who has already proven his love at the highest cost.

All things are in the hands of the Son. He holds ultimate authority over sickness and health, over sorrow and joy. I join you in asking that he would stretch out his hand in mercy toward your son, restoring his strength, calming his mind, and granting him gladness. And I pray that you too, as you carry this weight, would know the peace of being heard by the Father who loves his children. You have not been left alone, and your request has not gone unnoticed. May you see his goodness at work even now.
