please pray

We lift up this heartfelt prayer to our Heavenly Father, who hears the cries of His children. Your request for protection from storms, both physical and spiritual, resonates deeply with us, for we know that the Lord is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We join you in praying for safety over your home and loved ones, trusting in God’s promise to be a shield to those who take refuge in Him (Proverbs 30:5).

Father, we ask that You would calm the winds and the waves that threaten peace, just as You stilled the storm for Your disciples (Mark 4:39). Guard this home and all who dwell within it from harm, and let Your angels encamp around them for protection (Psalm 91:11). We also pray for spiritual storms, temptations, fears, and anxieties, that may seek to shake faith. Strengthen this household to stand firm in Your truth, knowing that You are greater than any storm (1 John 4:4).

Lord, we are grateful for the mention of Jesus’ name in this prayer, for there is no other name by which we can approach You (Acts 4:12). Salvation is found in no one else, and it is through Christ alone that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If there is any area of life where faith in Jesus has not yet taken root, we pray for conviction and surrender to His lordship. May this home be built on the rock of His Word, so that when the storms come, it will not be shaken (Matthew 7:24-25).

We rebuke any spirit of fear or destruction that may seek to bring harm, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that this home is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against it shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the privilege of coming before You in prayer. We ask that You would not only protect this home from storms but also use this family to be a light in their community, sharing the hope and peace that comes from knowing You. May Your name be glorified in all things.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We’re glad you reached out, even with just a few words. We join you in praying for your silent requests and for protection from storms. You don’t have to name everything out loud for God to know, He hears the heart’s whisper and sees what you’re carrying in secret. That is a quiet, steady comfort.

Fear before a storm is natural, but it doesn’t get the last word. We can bring that fear to the One who calms winds and waves, trusting that His love is right there with you in the noise and the waiting. If you’re watching skies right now, we’d also gently encourage you to take sensible precautions, know your safe place, have a plan. Prayer and practical action walk hand in hand, both ways of leaning on God.

And for those unspoken needs you hold, we are asking too. You are not alone in them; we stand with you, lifting them to the Lord who knows every detail.

Lord Jesus, we bring this dear person before You now. Quiet their heart when thunder rolls and fear threatens to crowd out peace. Be their shelter, and shield their home from harm. Wrap them in steady calm that doesn’t depend on the weather. For each silent request, we ask for Your mercy, provide what they truly need, in Your timing and Your way. Let them sense Your nearness tonight. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Such a cry, though brief, has already ascended to the throne of grace, for the Heavenly Father knows the mind of the Spirit in the groans of His children. You have laid your silent requests before Him who sees in secret, and a whispered prayer is often the arrow that flies swiftest into the ear of the Lord God of Sabaoth. He has promised protection, and His Word is a rock that cannot be broken by any tempest.

Do not be nervous, dear soul, the next time there is a storm, or even a great storm. Has the Lord promised anything? Then He will surely perform it! The Divine Architect who measures the wind and weighs the uncounted tons of the thundercloud creates that He may display His own perfections. He will not suffer the frail tent of your tabernacle to be swept away before His purpose is accomplished. You will always need Divine keeping, for God would not have charged His angels to keep His people in all their ways if they did not need protection in all their ways. This protection is perpetual as well as personal. Go to your bed in peace when the skies are dark, for He gives His beloved sleep even in the midst of the howling.

The silent requests committed to Him are not unknown. The best prayer often goes straight to God without the garment of words, spreading the case before Him and pleading the argument of His own promise. You need not borrow another’s devotion; you have said, “O Lord, You know what I need,” and that is the very essence of true supplication. What though the answer does not come in the way you expect? Prayer, mighty prayer, will yet prevail if it has but time.

And in this very act of crying out for your home, you have been engaged in the sweetest prayer God ever hears, for it smells of intercession. That is the mark of Christ’s own incense, who pleads not for Himself but for His own. Let this drive you closer to the gathering of the saints, for the Prayer Meeting is the place for the reception of Divine Power. There, like sheep that huddle together in a storm, the flock finds encouragement. Continue to cast this care upon Him, for the dry tree by divine grace shall flourish, and the trembling heart by His keeping shall abide in peace. He who says, “Keep them from the evil,” will do it. So be it. Amen.

You bring your silent requests before the Father, and rightly so, for He knows the unspoken depths of the heart. He calls you to flee to Him, and you have done well to ask protection for your home from the storms that rage. Yet consider the true calm He gives. He permitted the storm upon the sea to arise, that His disciples might ever seek Him; and with a single word, "It is I, be not afraid," He stilled it and cast out fear from their souls.

Do not think the outward storm is the only one to dread. The soul that clings to Christ becomes itself a heaven, bright and pure, not darkened by tribulations or the wiles of the devil. Make your soul such a dwelling, high above the earth, that no earthly storm can trouble it. When you feel the winds rise, either in the sky or in the heart, see it as His contrivance to draw you to Himself.

He often holds out a threat, not to bring it upon you, but that you may flee for refuge to His bosom. And when you return, He does away with the fear at once. You have asked protection through Jesus' Name, and this is the true shelter: not merely a quiet sky, but the Sun of Righteousness within, a calm that surpasses all others. So let your prayer be not only for the storm to pass, but for such a steadfast hope that, whether the rains come or the floods rise, you are found in Him, unshaken and refreshed.
