Please pray

Beloved of All
Please please please please pray for me. I am not in good health & I am worried about my eyesight. I am worried & scared. Please remember me in your prayers.

We hear your cry for help and lift you up before the throne of grace with heavy hearts. Your fear and worry are understandable, but we want to remind you that our God is the Great Physician, the One who heals and restores. The psalmist declares, "The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1 WEB). Even in the midst of physical struggles, He is your refuge and strength.

We also want to gently remind you that our prayers are offered in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6 WEB). If you have not placed your trust in Him as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of compassion for our brother/sister who is facing health struggles and fear. Lord, You see their anxiety and their concern about their eyesight. We ask that You would comfort them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Touch their body with Your healing hand, Lord. Restore their health, strengthen them, and renew their hope. Give wisdom to their doctors and clarity in their treatment. Remind them daily that You are their light and salvation, their stronghold in times of trouble.

Father, if there is any fear or doubt in their heart, replace it with faith in Your promises. Help them to trust in You with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5 WEB). Surround them with Your love and the support of Your people. May they feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5 WEB).

We also pray for their spiritual well-being. Draw them closer to You, Lord, and let this trial refine their faith like gold. May they grow in their relationship with You, finding joy and strength in Your Word. If they have not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, we pray that they would do so today, confessing Him as Lord and believing in their heart that You raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9 WEB).

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises. Meditate on His Word, for it is life and health to your body (Proverbs 4:20-22 WEB). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you. And remember, no matter what you face, God is with you. "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand" (Isaiah 41:10 WEB). You are not alone.

I agreed in prayer with you. Jesus, our Healer, surround them physically and emotionally ~ Your ### protecting their eyes, also ~ in Jesus' name Amen

We are praying with you right now, and we are so glad you reached out. When health concerns, especially something as personal as eyesight, stir up that kind of fear, it can feel very lonely. We hear the urgency in your words, and we want you to know you are not carrying this by yourself.

We would gently encourage you, alongside prayer, to see a doctor about your eyesight as soon as you can. Sometimes the unknown is more frightening than the actual situation, and a professional can help calm your fears by clarifying what is happening. You don’t have to wait or wonder alone. This isn’t a lack of faith; it is wise care for the body God has given you.

Fear can make everything seem sharper and darker than it may actually be, but your security rests in something deeper than a diagnosis. God himself walks with you through this, and he is not caught off guard by your health or your worry. Even when you feel fragile, you are held.

Let us pray together:

Father, you know the weight of fear this dear person is carrying right now. Please bring peace that surpasses understanding, even in the middle of uncertainty. Give them courage to take the next practical step, whether that is making an appointment or simply resting in your presence tonight. We ask for wisdom for any doctors involved, and for your gentle hand to guard their body and their spirit. Surround them with people who will stand with them, and let them sense your nearness in a tangible way. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Fear not. Jesus Himself whispers to His poor servant, "Fear not." It is disobedience to be afraid when He has commanded, "Fear not; for I will help thee, saith the Lord." Fear is weakening, and it dishonors God. You ask for brighter vision and clearer eyesight, then do not shut your eyes to the future, whatever it may hold. Trust firmly in your Lord, for this is the way to overcome fear. Remember the word of Caesar to the trembling boatman: "Fear not, you carry Caesar and all his fortunes." So you, child of God, carry Christ and all His grace. Let this fear lead you to review your life, that you may see His mercy, and then rest in His promise.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You plead with great urgency, but consider: does not the Apostle say, “God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind”? This trembling over your eyesight is not from on high. It is a fever of the soul, not the calm trust that befits a Christian. Yet fear can serve a holy purpose if it sobers your mind and leads you to reformation, for there is a fear that drives out sin and makes us cling to God.

Why are you so troubled about the body while neglecting the soul? The eye of flesh may fail, but what of the eye of faith? You cry out as one who feels the prick of a thorn but pays no heed to the festering wound within. Do you not recall that the Lord made a man wholly healthy, not merely in part? The health He gives is not of circumcision or of bodily relief, but the healing of the whole man, unto eternal life. Your ailment, if you receive it aright, can be a bitter medicine that cuts away the pride and carelessness that afflict you more grievously than any weakness of the eyes.

Do not say, “God is merciful,” and then demand an easy path. I tell you that nothing can be more merciful than He, and yet He permits blindness, poverty, and a thousand sorrows. Why? The reason is not always given us to see, for that way leads only to endless questions and a bottomless deep. The true solution is faith: to know that God orders all things justly and for our good, even when our reasoning fails. You fear the loss of your eyesight, but you do not fear the uncertainty of death that comes like a thief in the night. If your heart were fixed on the world to come, you would account bodily health as nothing to be feared and nothing to be desired inordinately. The poor man Lazarus lay at the gate full of sores, yet he was borne to Abraham’s bosom. The rich man had his health and his feasts, yet he cried for a drop of water in the flame. Where then is your treasure? He is not truly rich who has many possessions, but he who desires nothing beyond what God gives. He is not truly poor who suffers bodily want, but he who cannot endure his lot with thankfulness.

Instead of so many frantic words, examine your life. Are you prepared to meet the Lord should this sickness be the messenger that summons you? Let the fear that now grips you become the fear of God that wisely orders the soul. Receive this affliction as a reproof that wounds only to heal. We shall pray for you, indeed, but I would rather see you rise from your knees with a heart set on heaven than clinging to a few more years of earthly sight. Cast out the love of ease, and let your longing be for the health that never perishes.
