Servant of All
Father God, I stopped praying and believing for the longest time because nothing positive has happened. I have had so much hate in my heart. Family members are awful to each other yet they walk around pretending they love one another, promotions given to others instead of the ones that have actually proven they deserve it, I wish I could make some new friends, buy a house, lose weight, get out of debt, monetize on social media, etc. I’ve prayed but nothing good ever happens to me. Please God what exactly am I doing wrong?

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.

We hear the deep pain and frustration in your words, and we want you to know that your cry has not gone unnoticed by the Lord. The weariness of waiting, the hurt of betrayal, and the weight of unmet desires can make even the strongest believer question whether prayer is worth it. But Scripture reminds us, *"The righteous cry, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles"* (Psalm 34:17). The fact that you are reaching out now, even after seasons of doubt, shows that the Holy Spirit is still at work in you.

First, we must address the hate in your heart. The Bible is clear: *"Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life remaining in him"* (1 John 3:15). This is a heavy truth, but it is also an invitation to surrender that bitterness to Christ. Holding onto unforgiveness only poisons your own soul. We rebuke the spirit of resentment in Jesus’ name and pray that God would soften your heart toward those who have wronged you. *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you"* (Ephesians 4:31-32).

You ask what you might be doing wrong, and while we cannot judge your heart, we can point to a few biblical principles that may apply. First, are you praying *according to God’s will*? James 4:3 warns, *"You ask and don’t receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures."* This doesn’t mean your desires for a home, financial freedom, or meaningful friendships are wrong, but are they rooted in God’s timing and purposes? Second, are you trusting in God’s goodness even when answers don’t come immediately? *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6). Third, are you walking in obedience where God has already spoken? Unconfessed sin or disobedience can hinder our prayers (Psalm 66:18).

We also notice that your prayer did not mention the name of Jesus. This is not a small detail—it is everything. Jesus said, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you"* (John 16:23). There is no access to the Father except through the Son (John 14:6). If you have never placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Salvation is not earned by good works or perfect prayers but by grace through faith: *"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast"* (Ephesians 2:8-9). If you have already professed faith in Christ, we encourage you to examine your heart—are you praying *in His name*, trusting in His authority and will, or are you simply reciting words?

Now, let us pray over you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is weary and discouraged. Lord, You see the pain in their heart—the hurt from family, the frustration of unmet desires, the weight of debt and longing for stability. We ask that You would meet them in this place of struggle. Forgive them for any bitterness or unforgiveness they have harbored, and cleanse their heart with the blood of Jesus. We rebuke the spirit of doubt and despair that has whispered lies about Your faithfulness, and we declare that You are a God who hears and answers prayer.

Father, we pray for breakthrough in their finances. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we ask that You would open doors for promotion, wise financial stewardship, and debt freedom. Give them the discipline to manage what You entrust to them and the wisdom to seek godly counsel. For their desire for a home, we ask that You would lead them to the right place at the right time, a place of peace and stability that honors You. For their health, we pray for self-control and a renewed mind, that they would care for the temple You have given them (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).

Lord, we ask for godly friendships to enter their life—believers who will sharpen them, encourage them, and walk with them in faith. Surround them with a community that reflects Your love. For their social media endeavors, we pray for integrity, creativity, and favor, that any monetization would be used for Your glory and not their own gain.

Most of all, Father, we pray that they would encounter You afresh. Remind them that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28), even when they cannot see it. Strengthen their faith to wait on Your timing, knowing that Your delays are not denials. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let them taste Your goodness in new ways this week.

We declare over them that they are not forgotten. You have plans for them—plans for welfare, not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We speak life, blessing, and favor over their life in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Do not lose heart, dear one. The enemy wants you to believe that God has abandoned you, but that is a lie. Jesus said, *"I am with you always, even to the end of the age"* (Matthew 28:20). Keep pressing into Him, even when it feels like nothing is changing. Read His Word, worship Him in spirit and truth, and surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable. The breakthrough may not come overnight, but it *will* come if you do not give up. *"Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up"* (Galatians 6:9). You are not alone in this fight—we are standing with you, and more importantly, so is the Lord.

We're here with you, dear friend. We've been where you are, feeling like prayers hit a ceiling and life's promises seem far away. But remember, even Jesus felt forsaken on the cross, crying out, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" Yet, He trusted in His Father's plan.

First, let's address the heavy burden of hate in your heart. It's a normal response to hurt, but it's like drinking poison, hoping the other person will die. We can't change others, but we can choose to forgive, not for their sake, but for ours. As it's written, "Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you." (Colossians 3:13)

Now, about your prayers. You ask what you're doing wrong. We can't see your heart, but we can suggest a few things to consider. Are you praying according to God's will? Are you trusting in God's goodness even when answers don't come immediately? Are you walking in obedience where God has already spoken? And, importantly, are you praying in Jesus' name?

We also noticed that your prayer didn't mention Jesus' name. It's not a small detail. Jesus said, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask in My name, I will do." (John 14:13) There's power in praying in Jesus' name.

Now, let's pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our friend. Lord, You see their pain, their hurt, their longing. We ask that You would meet them in this place of struggle. Read His Word, worship Him in spirit and truth, and surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable. (Galatians 6:9)

You are not alone in this fight - we're standing with you, and more importantly, so is the Lord.

Praying for you and your request in Jesus. Did you know that Jesus always has us all on His thoughts and He is at the ready for Us to declare His Promises that are written for Us All to proclaim?

Have we ever really meditated on Matthew 6 where Jesus instructs us to take no thought for our lives? I have looked at this in terms of the rest of the Bible where I have learned to claim His Promises in Jesus and take on His thoughts for my life. Thank You Lord Jesus for Blessing me to learn to stop thinking about my life, learn to take on Your thoughts for my life and so much more for Your Glory and my good in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Do you Believe Jesus died for our sins, is Risen from the dead, is Preparing a place for us and is about to call us to join Him?

Are you watching for Jesus in the Clouds of Glory? Jesus is about to call us to join Him!

We can do everything Jesus did and more! We can speak; sickness leave in Jesus! Be healed by Jesus stripes! I am healed by Jesus stripes! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

You can copy and paste this to pray every day and share...

There is nothing that happens for us that is bad except our thoughts about what is happening to us. The Bible says All things work together for our good in Jesus! Look at everything as good!

Sing through out your days Thank You Jesus, Praise You Jesus, Glory to You Lord Jesus or anything that is on your heart to sing to Jesus! It doesn't matter how we sound, Angels will join in with us and Jesus will join in with us as well as fight for us, knock down walls for us, open locks for us, save people for us, evil will flee from us, He heals us and He will over flow His Holy Peace in us.

Praying for others on here and reading your Bible will help you tremendously.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life from Matthew 6. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. My wife returned. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus! All things work together for my good in Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Praying for others especially in your situation will help you tremendously in yours friend.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

Pray this prayer look up the verses and pray it again with your friends and family and let's mount up with wings as eagles and soar. Soar with me.

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. God I take You at Your Word, if I will draw closer to You, You will draw closer to me (James 4:8). Show me how to draw closer to You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

Bless us to sing praises and thanks to You Lord Jesus so You can fill us with the wine of the Spirit in Jesus Name, Amen.
