Angel Eyes

Servant of All
Father God, I stopped praying and believing for the longest time because nothing positive has happened. I have had so much hate in my heart. Family members are awful to each other yet they walk around pretending they love one another, promotions given to others instead of the ones that have actually proven they deserve it, I wish I could make some new friends, buy a house, lose weight, get out of debt, monetize on social media, etc. I’ve prayed but nothing good ever happens to me. Please God what exactly am I doing wrong?

We hear the pain and frustration in your words, and we want you to know that your cry has reached the throne of grace. The weariness of unanswered prayers, the weight of unmet expectations, and the hurt from broken relationships can make it feel like God is distant or silent. But Scripture assures us that He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). You are not alone in this struggle, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God’s will and His perfect timing for your life.

First, we must address the matter of your faith. You mentioned stopping your prayers and doubting God’s goodness because of unfulfilled desires. This is a common struggle, but we are reminded in Hebrews 11:6 that without faith, it is impossible to please God, for those who come to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him. When we stop praying, we cut off the very lifeline that connects us to God’s power and provision. Jesus Himself taught us to ask, seek, and knock, promising that those who do will receive, find, and have doors opened to them (Matthew 7:7-8). Your prayers matter, and God hears them, even when the answers are not immediate or visible.

The bitterness and hate you feel toward your family and circumstances are understandable, but they are also dangerous. Ephesians 4:31-32 tells us, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Holding onto unforgiveness and resentment only poisons your own heart and hinders your relationship with God. We must rebuke the spirit of bitterness in Jesus’ name and ask the Holy Spirit to soften your heart toward those who have wronged you. Forgiveness does not mean excusing their behavior; it means releasing the burden of anger to God and trusting Him to bring justice in His time.

You also mentioned feeling overlooked in your career and personal goals. It is painful to see others receive what we believe we deserve, but we are called to trust in God’s sovereignty. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Promotion comes from the Lord (Psalm 75:6-7), and He sees your faithfulness even when others do not. Instead of comparing yourself to others, focus on stewarding the opportunities and gifts God has given you. Your breakthrough may come in ways you do not expect, but it will come if you remain faithful.

Your desire for new friendships, a home, financial freedom, and health are all valid, but we must examine the motives behind them. Are these desires aligned with God’s will for your life, or are they driven by a longing for security and validation outside of Him? Jesus warned us in Matthew 6:33 to "seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." When our priorities are in order, God often provides the desires of our hearts in ways that glorify Him. We encourage you to surrender these dreams to Him and ask Him to purify your motives. If your goals are rooted in His will, He will bring them to pass in His perfect timing.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is feeling weary and discouraged. Lord, we ask that You would renew their faith and restore their hope in You. Forgive them for the times they have doubted Your goodness or allowed bitterness to take root in their heart. We rebuke the spirit of unforgiveness and ask that You would fill them with Your peace and love. Help them to release the hurt and anger they have carried and to trust You with their pain.

Father, we declare that You are a God who sees and hears. You know the desires of their heart, and You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that they could ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We ask that You would open doors for new friendships, a godly spouse (if that is Your will), financial breakthrough, and a home. Lord, align their desires with Your will and give them patience to wait on Your timing. Help them to seek You first in all things and to trust that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

We also pray for their health and discipline. Give them the strength to make wise choices in their diet and exercise, and help them to honor You with their body as a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Lord, we ask that You would break any chains of debt in their life and provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). If there are areas where they have sought validation or success outside of You, we ask that You would reveal those to them and draw them back to a place of dependence on You.

Father, we declare that their prayers are not in vain. You are a God who answers, and we trust that You will move on their behalf. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to persevere even when they do not see immediate results. Remind them that You are working behind the scenes, orchestrating every detail of their life for Your glory.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already theirs in Christ Jesus. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, who makes all things possible. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to press into God’s Word and His presence. Spend time in prayer and worship, not just when you need something, but as a daily habit. Join a local church or small group where you can find godly community and accountability. Surround yourself with believers who will speak life into you and challenge you to grow in your faith. Remember, God is not slow in keeping His promises (2 Peter 3:9), and His timing is always perfect. Keep seeking Him, and He will direct your paths.

We hear you, dear one, and we're here for you. We know it's tough when it feels like prayers aren't being answered and life's challenges seem overwhelming. But remember, God is always with you, even in the silence. He sees your tears and understands your pain.

We want to encourage you to keep pressing in, even when it's hard. Keep praying, keep believing. God promises in Matthew 7:7-8, "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." He's listening, and He's at work, even if you can't see the results yet.

It's also important to let go of the bitterness and hurt you're feeling. Holding onto it only weighs you down. Forgive, not because the other person deserves it, but because it's the key to your own freedom and healing. As it says in Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."

And remember, God has a plan for you. He sees your desires for new friends, a home, financial freedom, and health. Trust that He's working things out for your good, even if it doesn't look like what you expected. Keep seeking Him first, and He'll direct your paths.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You today on behalf of our dear friend. We ask that You would comfort them in their pain, renew their faith, and restore their hope. Help them to let go of any bitterness or unforgiveness and fill them with Your peace and love. We declare that You see them, You hear them, and You're working everything together for their good. Help them to trust in Your timing and to seek You first in all things. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want you to know how deeply we’ve been lifting you up before the Lord these past days. It’s a sacred privilege to stand with you in prayer, especially when the weight of disappointment and hurt feels so heavy. We’ve asked our Father to meet you in the places where bitterness has taken root—where family wounds ache, where promotions feel unjustly withheld, and where the longing for friendship, provision, and breakthrough feels unmet. We’ve prayed for His healing touch to soften your heart toward those who’ve hurt you, for His justice to prevail in your workplace, and for His favor to open doors no man can shut.

We’ve also asked Him to remind you of His nearness when the silence feels deafening. When prayers seem unanswered, it’s easy to wonder if we’re doing something wrong—but we’ve interceded that He would reveal Himself to you in ways you might not expect, even now. We’ve prayed for clarity about next steps with your finances, your health, and your dreams, trusting that He is working even when the path isn’t clear.

If any of these burdens have lifted—even a little—we’d love to celebrate with you. If the wait continues, we’re not going anywhere. We’ll keep praying, keep believing, and keep standing in agreement with you until you see His faithfulness unfold. You’re not forgotten, and your story isn’t over. May His peace guard your heart as you press into Him, and may you sense His love wrapping around you in this season.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
