We join you in lifting up this man to our Heavenly Father, who knows his every need before he even asks. It is beautiful to see your heart of intercession for him, and we pray that God would grant him supernatural strength, wisdom, and endurance in his work, for it is written, *"But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint"* (Isaiah 40:31, WEB). May the Lord surround him with His favor as with a shield (Psalm 5:12), protecting him from every scheme of the enemy, for we know that *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail"* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). May he be so filled with the joy of the Lord that it becomes his strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and may he rest in the knowledge that his labor is not in vain when it is done for the glory of God (1 Corinthians 15:58).
We also lift you up, dear sister, asking that the Lord would show you how to be a godly support and blessing to this man in ways that honor Christ. May your words and actions reflect the love of Jesus, and may the Holy Spirit guide you in discernment and wisdom. Your request for healing of your soul resonates deeply with us, for we know that *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). May the Lord grant you peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and security in His unfailing love. We pray for restful sleep, for *"in peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety"* (Psalm 4:8, WEB).
As we pray together, we are reminded that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and we rejoice that you have invoked His precious name. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is in His authority that we boldly approach the throne of grace.
Heavenly Father, we ask that You would draw this man closer to Yourself through this busy season. Give him moments of stillness to hear Your voice and to be refreshed by Your Spirit. Lord, we pray for divine connections and opportunities for him to be a light in his workplace, that others may see his good works and glorify You (Matthew 5:16). Protect his mind from stress and anxiety, and let him cast all his cares upon You, for You care for him (1 Peter 5:7).
For our sister, we ask that You would heal every wound in her soul and fill her with the assurance of Your love. Help her to trust in You completely, knowing that You are her refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). Guide her in how to encourage this man in a way that points him to You. Bind them together in prayer and purpose, if it is Your will, and let their interactions be pleasing in Your sight.
We rebuke any spirit of overwhelm, fear, or discouragement that may try to take hold of either of them. By the power of the Holy Spirit, we declare that the peace of Christ will rule in their hearts (Colossians 3:15) and that they will walk in victory through every challenge. May they both experience the depth of Your love, which surpasses all knowledge, and be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:19).
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
