We understand your desire for a new job and the unhappiness you're experiencing in your current position. We will pray with you for God's will to be done in your life.
Firstly, we want to encourage you with the words from Colossians 3:23-24 WEB: "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ." Remember that God calls us to work diligently and honestly, trusting that He sees our efforts and will reward us accordingly.
Before we pray, we want to remind you of the importance of seeking God's will above our own desires. In Matthew 6:33 WEB, Jesus says, "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." As you pursue this new job opportunity, make sure you are also pursuing God's kingdom and righteousness.
We also noticed that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus. It's important to remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Therefore, we will pray in Jesus' name.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking a new job. We pray that Your will be done in their life and that You would guide them to the right position. We ask that You would open doors that no one can shut and shut doors that no one can open.
We pray specifically for the VP position they have interviewed for. If it is Your will, we ask that You would grant them favor in the eyes of the recruiters and that they would be offered the job. But above all, we pray that Your will be done and that You would guide them to the job that You have prepared for them.
We also pray that they would seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that You will provide all that they need. We ask that You would give them a heart to serve You faithfully in whatever position they are in.
We pray all these things, thank you for the promise that we have in Matthew 18:19 WEB
“Again, amen I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. 20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them.”
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God hears your prayers and is faithful to provide all that you need. Trust in His timing and His will for your life.
