We join with you in prayer for the return of your passport and immigrant visa this week and for your travel to the USA in November without further delays, and we lift up your desire to secure good employment soon after your arrival.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share why this is so important to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. And scripture tells us, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. If we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in our heart that God raised him from the dead, we will be saved. Romans 10:9. It is by trusting in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing He died for our sins and rose again, that our prayers are heard and we have peace with God. We pray you know this hope personally.
We bring your practical needs before the Lord, knowing He cares about every detail of our lives and He is sovereign even over governments and authorities who process documents. We are reminded, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. We also remember, Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this. Psalm 37:5, and Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. Proverbs 16:3.
We pray together, Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. We ask for Your favor over the passport and immigrant visa, that it would be returned this week according to Your will, without error or unnecessary hindrance. We ask that You would guide the hands of those who handle it and open the doors that no man can shut. We pray for the planned travel in November, that You would grant safe passage, provide for every logistical need, and remove delays that would hinder what You have ordained. We pray for Your provision of a good job soon after arrival, a job that provides honestly and allows for diligence and stewardship for Your glory. We know You promise, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19. Help our friend to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added. Matthew 6:33. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23. Give peace while waiting, patience in uncertainty, and faith to trust that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. Romans 8:28. We thank You that Your thoughts and plans for us are for peace and for a future with hope. Jeremiah 29:11. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and intercessor, amen.
We encourage you to continue to commit each step to the Lord in prayer, to give thanks even while you wait, and to prepare diligently for the work God will provide. Trust His timing, for even if there is a short delay, He is still working for your good. We stand with you believing God will provide and guide your journey.

We know how much weight this waiting carries for you, and we are holding these requests with you before the Lord.
Waiting for a passport and visa to come back can feel so unsettled, especially when you have travel plans for November and so much of your next chapter depends on that timing. It makes sense that you would feel anxious for a clear answer this week, and hopeful for a smooth journey and a good start once you arrive.
We are praying with you for the safe and timely return of your documents, for no further delays in your travel, and for the Lord to open the right door for work soon after you get settled. While you wait, one small step that often helps is to keep a simple record of any case numbers, contacts, and status updates in one place, and to check the official tracking portal as directed, so you have everything ready if you need to follow up. It can also help to begin gathering your work history and references now, so when you arrive you can move quickly on applications.
Father, we lift up our friend to You. You see the waiting and the hopes for November. We ask for Your peace in these days, for favor in the return of the passport and visa, for safe travel in Your timing, and for provision of good and fitting work after arrival. Guide each step and give steady trust in Your care. In Jesus' name, amen.

Beloved of All
We have heard your petition and we join with you in prayer before the throne of grace for these matters which lie upon your heart.
You are in this place of waiting and for a while perhaps you will have to exercise that waiting spirit. Scripture tells us that the Lord waiteth that He may be gracious, and blessed are all they that wait for Him. There is a waiting God who waits to be gracious to His people, and there is a waiting people who wait upon Him in hope, not in despair nor in hesitation, but in joyous and assured hope of blessedness in reserve. To wait upon God as a servant waits upon his lord, anxious to know what his master wishes him to do, and as a traveler waits upon his guide for direction in the entire voyage of life, is both our duty and our comfort.
Waiting upon the Lord is the way to renew our strength until we mount up with eagle's wings. It brings a mysterious strength through the incoming of the Eternal Spirit into our souls, it makes the world and all its affairs to seem small in their true littleness, and it breeds peace within the soul so that when a man is perfectly at rest within he cares little for trials or hindrances. So we encourage you to continue waiting and watching at mercy's door, bringing your petition and leaving it in His wise hands, trusting His perfect timing.
Let us pray together. O gracious Father, we bring before Thee our brother in Christ who waits for the return of his passport and immigrant visa. We ask in Thy mercy that if it be Thy will, Thou wouldst move those who hold these documents to restore them speedily this week without further delay. We ask Thy providential hand over his intended travel to the United States in November, that Thou wouldst open the way and order his steps, and guide him as the pilot guides the mariner through the voyage. We pray also that Thou wouldst provide for him a good and honest employment soon after his arrival, that he may labour with integrity and provide for those committed to his care, and serve Thee faithfully in his daily calling. Above all, grant him patience to wait upon Thee, strength renewed day by day, and a heart at peace resting upon Thy goodness and sovereignty. We ask these things trusting not in our worthiness but in the merits of Jesus Christ our Lord, who ever liveth to make intercession for us. Amen.

Beloved of All
We join you in prayer before our merciful God and bring your needs before Him with thanksgiving.
We pray that the Lord will grant favor with those who handle your documents, that your passport and immigrant visa will be returned to you quickly this week without obstacle, and that your journey to the United States in November will be made straight and peaceful according to His will. We ask Him to remove every unnecessary delay and to guard your going out and your coming in, granting you safety and peace as you travel.
We also pray that God in His providence will open the right door for work soon after you arrive, honest labor where you can provide for your needs, use the gifts He has given you, and serve others with diligence and integrity. May He give you wisdom, humility, and strength as you prepare for this new season, and help you to trust Him fully in the waiting.
Even in times of waiting we learn to trust His timing and to use the delay well, growing in prayer, patience, and readiness to do His will. May the Lord keep you steadfast in faith, hopeful in His goodness, and confident that He hears those who call upon Him through Jesus Christ.
We pray all this in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, asking for His grace and provision to rest upon you. Amen.
