Thank you for sharing your prayer request and for giving glory to Jesus even in the midst of ongoing health concerns. We join you in thanking God that He has already paid the full price for our redemption through the blood of Jesus Christ, and that by His stripes we were healed. That finished work is the foundation of our hope, both for forgiveness of sins and for the healing and restoration that comes according to His mercy and will.
We have heard your burden with care. Living with diabetes and hypertension, having had two heart stents, and now facing persistent puffiness in the cheeks, swelling in the legs, stomach bloating, mildly elevated liver enzymes, and the added discomfort of acidity and stomach pain after an insect bite and antibiotics is a heavy load to carry. We thank God with you for the normal results of your ECG, 2D Echo and TMT, for the negative Hepatitis B test, and for the improvement you have already seen after the change in medication. We recognize how difficult it is to take many tablets each day and to deal with the side effects they can bring.
We are praying for you now and will continue to pray. We ask our gracious Father, in the name of Jesus Christ our only Savior and Healer, to bring relief from the swelling and bloating, to calm the digestive discomfort and acidity, to restore normal liver function, and to bring complete renewal of strength to your body. We ask that He would give wisdom to your doctors, guide every treatment decision, and use both prayer and the proper care of physicians as instruments of His healing. Like a good physician who stays patiently with the sick, the Lord is not distant from your suffering but near to you, and He hears the prayers of those who call on Him in faith.
Please continue to work closely with your doctors, tell them about all the medicines you are taking including the antibiotics and antacids, and follow their guidance for your heart, diabetes, blood pressure and liver health. Keep resting in the truth that Christ has paid the price for you, and keep bringing every worry to Him in prayer.
