please pray that I hear from my daughter

Tachick

Faithful Servant
Please say a prayer that God lets me hear from my daughter today. I'm very worried. I don't know if she is busy, someone is sick or if she is upset with me. I ask in the name of Jesus. God bless you. ###

We lift your heavy heart to the Lord, knowing the deep love and concern you carry for your daughter. The silence can feel overwhelming, and the not knowing can stir up so many fears. But we serve a God who hears, who sees, and who cares deeply about the relationships He has ordained. Scripture reminds us in 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." You are not alone in this worry, God is with you, and we stand with you in prayer.

Father in Heaven, we come before You with humble and anxious hearts, asking for Your peace to surround this parent who longs to hear from their daughter. Lord, You know the circumstances, whether it is busyness, illness, misunderstanding, or something else entirely. We ask that You would soften hearts, open lines of communication, and bring clarity where there is confusion. Let this parent hear from their daughter today, Lord, not just for their own peace, but so that they may know she is safe and well. If there is any tension or hurt between them, we pray for reconciliation and healing in Your name. Remind them both of the love You have placed in their hearts for one another, and let that love draw them together.

We also ask, Lord, that You would guard this parent’s heart from fear and anxiety. Help them to trust in Your timing and Your goodness, even when the wait feels long. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, as Philippians 4:6-7 promises: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

If there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in this situation, Lord, we ask that You would bring it to light and grant the grace to repent and seek restoration. Relationships are precious to You, and we know You desire unity and love among Your children. We pray that this family would be a reflection of Your love and grace to one another.

We trust You, Lord, to work in this situation. Whether the answer comes today or in the days ahead, we ask that You would strengthen this parent’s faith and remind them that You are always near. Thank You for hearing our prayer, and thank You for the promise that when we call on You, You will answer. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We hear your worry, and we are praying with you today. The silence from someone we love can feel so heavy, especially when our minds start filling in the gaps with all the “maybes”, busyness, sickness, or something we might have done wrong. Most of the time, the truth is far simpler and kinder than our fears, but that doesn’t make the waiting any easier.

While you wait, a gentle, no-pressure message can open a door without adding weight. Something like, “Just thinking of you and hoping all is well. I’m here whenever you’d like to talk.” That lets her know you care while leaving the next move in her hands. And as you send that, you can pour out the rest to the Lord who knows exactly what she’s facing. He loves her even more than you do, and he’s not limited by distance or silence. We’re joining you in that trust right now.

Lord Jesus, you see this mother’s heart and you know where her daughter is at this moment. Calm the anxious thoughts and replace them with your steady peace. We ask you to prompt her daughter to reach out, to lift any misunderstanding or unseen obstacle, and to give this mom a reassuring word today, even if it’s just a brief one. Hold them both in your strong and gentle care. In your name we pray, amen.

I wonder how many times today you have looked at the silence, and your heart has filled it with voices. Silence is a strange thing, it can be so loud. It whispers to us that we are forgotten, that something is wrong, that we have done something amiss. And the longer it lasts, the more it seems to confirm every fear we have. But silence is not always what we think it is. Sometimes it is simply a busy hour, a phone set aside, a day swallowed up by small necessities. Sometimes it is nothing at all. And yet we sit and listen to it as though it were a judge pronouncing a sentence against us.

But let me ask you this: who is it that holds your daughter? Who has held her since she drew her first breath? The same Lord who has numbered the hairs of her head and written her name in His book. He does not lose track of His own, and He does not lose track of your child. You have asked in the name of Jesus that you might hear from her today. That is a good and right prayer, for He invites us to cast every care upon Him, and this care is heavy on your heart. But while you wait, do not let the silence speak louder than your Savior. He is not silent toward you. He has spoken in His Word, and He speaks still in the quiet of your spirit. He says, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." He says, "Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you." He does not say, "Cast your burden, and then take it back again and worry it to pieces." He says He will sustain you.

You do not know whether your daughter is busy, or someone is sick, or she is upset with you. That not-knowing is a deep water, and you are out in it. But a ship in deep water is safe enough if the Pilot is at the helm. And He is. You have not drifted beyond His sight, and neither has she. There is no distance, no silence, no misunderstanding that can put either of you beyond the reach of His love. Christ is not merely a harbor of refuge for fair weather; He is a port for all weathers. This weather of yours, this fretful, anxious, waiting weather, is weather He knows well. He was acquainted with grief. He knew what it was to wait, to be misunderstood, to be separated from those He loved. And He is with you now, not as a distant observer, but as one who has walked this road.

I want you to think of something else, too. Sometimes we fashion a kind of program in our minds of how things must go. We imagine what the other person is thinking, what they must be feeling, what conclusion we ought to draw from their quiet. But our forecasts are very often wrong. The prodigal son came home with a whole speech prepared, and his father never let him finish it, the kiss stopped the words before they could be spoken. The thing he feared to hear was never said, because love ran faster than his fears. Do not let your heart write a story of estrangement before you have the facts. The silence may mean nothing at all, or it may mean something very different from what you suppose. Leave room for grace.

And remember this: your daughter is not only your daughter. She is tied to you by bonds deeper than blood if you both belong to Christ. The saints in heaven and earth are one family, an undivided household, no matter how many miles or misunderstandings lie between. That is a steady truth you can lean on. Even if there were a breach, and I am not saying there is, the One who reconciled you to Himself is able to reconcile you to one another. He has committed to us the word of reconciliation. He does not leave broken things broken. He mends them. And He is mending even now, in ways you cannot see.

So let me speak a calm word into your worry. You have done what you can. You have prayed. You have placed the matter in the hands of the God who neither slumbers nor sleeps. Now let your heart be still. A child in the dark does not need to see the father's face; it is enough to feel his hand. And His hand is holding you both.

Let us pray.

Lord Jesus, You see this dear one waiting for word from a beloved daughter. You know the worry that creeps in with the silence, and You are not unmoved by it. Speak peace, we ask. Quiet the pounding heart and the racing thoughts. And in Your perfect time, grant that word may come, a message of safety, of health, of love unbroken. But even before that word comes, let Your presence be the answer that steadies the soul. Shepherd this mother’s heart in the waiting hours, and shepherd her daughter wherever she may be. For You are the good Shepherd who calls His own by name, and no one can snatch them from Your hand. We rest in that, and we ask it in Your name, Jesus. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We are so grateful you entrusted us with your heartfelt request, laying your worry and longing before the Lord. It has been heavy on our hearts to continue lifting up your daughter to our Heavenly Father, asking Him to draw near to both of you in this time of silence. We have prayed that God would calm your fears, open lines of communication, and surround your daughter with His peace and protection, no matter the reason for her distance.

If the Lord has answered this prayer and you’ve heard from her, we would be overjoyed to celebrate this praise with you! Please share the good news so we can rejoice together in God’s faithfulness. If, however, the silence remains and your heart still aches with uncertainty, we want to stand with you again in prayer. You are not alone in this, and we will continue to intercede on your behalf, asking God to move mightily in this situation.

May the Lord bless you with His comfort and assurance as you wait on Him. We trust that He hears your cries and is working even when we cannot see it. Keep seeking Him, dear one, and know that we are praying for you both in Jesus’ Name.
