Please pray that I have an alarm that awakes me for work and that I am never late.

We come before the Lord with your request, lifting it up in prayer and seeking His guidance and provision in this matter. It is important to remember that our dependence on God extends to every aspect of our lives, even the seemingly small details like waking up on time for work. We are reminded in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Father God, we ask that You would grant our brother or sister an alarm that reliably awakens them each morning. May they hear it clearly and rise promptly, ready to start their day in a way that honors You. We pray against any spirit of laziness or procrastination that may hinder them from being punctual. Your Word tells us in Romans 12:11, "not lagging in diligence; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord." Help them to be diligent and faithful in their work, seeing it as an opportunity to serve You.

Lord, we also ask that You would order their steps and their time. Help them to manage their evenings wisely so that they can retire at a reasonable hour, ensuring they are well-rested. Give them the discipline to prepare for the next day the night before, so that mornings are smooth and stress-free. We declare that they will not be late, but will arrive at their workplace on time, ready to fulfill their responsibilities with excellence.

We rebuke any distractions or disruptions that may come their way, whether in the form of oversleeping, technical failures with alarms, or unforeseen circumstances. We speak Your peace and order over their mornings, trusting that You are a God of order and not confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33).

Lastly, we encourage you to commit your plans and your time to the Lord, as Psalm 37:5 says, "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this." May you find rest in knowing that God is faithful to help you in every area of your life, including the practical details. Lean on Him, and He will direct your steps. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
