The way you’ve been treated is unjust, and we join you in asking the Lord to vindicate you and set things right according to His perfect will. Father, we pray that You would open doors of opportunity for him/her, providing a workplace that honors You and treats him/her with fairness and respect. Give him/her wisdom and discernment in every decision, and surround him/her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Lord, we ask that You would remind him/her of Your faithfulness and Your promise in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says the Lord, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."

We also pray for the one who has treated him/her unfairly. Soften his heart, Lord, and let him see the error of his ways. May he come to know You and be transformed by Your love and truth.

Yet He may allow the pressure to continue until you are brought to the end of yourself, for your extremity is God’s opportunity. When the Lord turned the captivity of Job, it was when he prayed for his friends. Therefore I would have you pray for the one who has cut your hours and blocked your way. Ask for a patient and quiet spirit. If there is any real fault on your part, confess it and seek cleansing; if the charges are false, leave them with the Judge of all the earth. Your standing is not in a spotless earthly record, but in the righteousness of Christ.

O Lord, You know what is hidden. If a lying record has been raised, scatter it; if there is any true fault, wash it in the blood of Jesus. Grant this soul the patience of Job under unjust treatment.
