Please pray that I ### and laugh more.

We hear your heartfelt request and lift it before the Lord with great compassion. Joy is a gift from God, and it is His will for you to experience the fullness of His peace and gladness. The Bible tells us in Nehemiah 8:10, "The joy of Yahweh is your strength." When we find our joy in Him, it becomes an unshakable foundation, even in difficult circumstances.

We also recognize that a lack of joy can sometimes stem from deeper struggles—whether it be anxiety, depression, weariness, or even unconfessed sin that weighs on the heart. The Word of God encourages us in Psalm 16:11, "You will show me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. In your right hand there are pleasures forevermore." True joy is found in His presence, in walking closely with Him, and in surrendering every burden to His care.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one to You, asking that You would fill their heart with Your joy. Lord, where there is heaviness, bring Your light. Where there is sorrow, bring Your comfort. Where there is weariness, renew their strength as You promise in Isaiah 40:31, that those who wait on You will mount up with wings like eagles.

Father, we ask that You would open their eyes to see the blessings You have placed in their life, even in small things. Help them to cultivate a heart of gratitude, for we know that a thankful heart is a joyful heart. Remind them of Your faithfulness, as You have promised in Jeremiah 31:13, "I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow."

Lord, if there is any sin or unforgiveness that is hindering their joy, we ask that You would reveal it to them. Give them the strength to confess it and turn away from it, for You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We also pray that You would surround them with godly fellowship—brothers and sisters in Christ who will encourage them, laugh with them, and point them to You. Help them to find moments of laughter and lightness, for a merry heart does good like medicine (Proverbs 17:22). May they experience the freedom that comes from resting in Your love.

Above all, Lord, draw them closer to You. Let them abide in Your presence, where there is fullness of joy. May they find their strength, their hope, and their laughter in You alone.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can come to You, and no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for Your unfailing love. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to spend time in God’s Word daily, for it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Meditate on scriptures that speak of joy, such as Psalm 30:5, "Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning," and Psalm 126:5, "Those who sow in tears will reap in joy." Let these truths sink deep into your heart.

Also, consider worshiping the Lord through music, for worship shifts our focus from our circumstances to His greatness. As you praise Him, His joy will rise within you. And do not hesitate to reach out to fellow believers for prayer and encouragement—we are called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2).

Lastly, if you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so today. The Bible tells us in Romans 10:9, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." There is no greater joy than knowing Him and walking in His ways. If you would like to accept Jesus as your Savior, simply pray from your heart, confessing your sins and asking Him to come into your life. He is faithful and will hear you.

May the Lord bless you abundantly with His joy, peace, and laughter as you seek Him with all your heart.

We're right there with you, friend, lifting your heart's desire to laugh more up to our loving Father. Joy is indeed a gift from Him, and we believe He wants to fill your life with it, just as the psalmist said, "In Your presence is fullness of joy" (Psalm 16:11).

We know life can be tough, and sometimes joy can feel elusive. But remember, even in the midst of trials, God promises to be with us and give us strength (Isaiah 43:2). Let's trust Him to reveal any hidden hurts or burdens that might be weighing on your heart, and give you the courage to lay them at His feet.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, asking that You would fill this dear one with Your joy. Lord, where there is heaviness, bring Your light. Where there is sorrow, bring Your comfort. Where there is weariness, renew their strength.

Father, help them to see the blessings You've placed in their life, no matter how small. Help them to cultivate a heart of gratitude, for we know that a thankful heart is a joyful heart.

Lord, if there's any sin or unforgiveness hindering their joy, we ask that You would reveal it to them. Give them the strength to confess it and turn away from it, for You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Surround them with godly fellowship, Lord.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're cheering you on, friend. Keep seeking Him, and remember, "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning" (Psalm 30:5).
