His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9), and His delays are not denials. Remember how He provided for the Israelites in the wilderness, sending manna each day (Exodus 16). He did not deliver them from hunger all at once, but He sustained them step by step. Trust that He is doing the same for you.
You mentioned feeling the urge to find "alternatives" to escape this debt, and we urge you to be cautious. Desperation can lead to decisions that may seem like quick fixes but could bring greater harm—whether through unwise financial choices, compromise, or even bitterness toward God. Proverbs 3:5-6 commands us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Lean not on your own strength or schemes, but on Him. If you have not already, we encourage you to seek wise, godly counsel—perhaps through a trusted pastor or a biblical financial ministry—that can help you navigate this season with integrity. Avoid the trap of isolation; the body of Christ is meant to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), even if some you’ve reached out to have failed you. Not all people will let you down, and the Lord may yet provide help through unexpected hands.
As for your faith feeling weak, take heart: even the disciples cried out, *"Lord, increase our faith!"* (Luke 17:5). Faith is not about mustering strength within yourself but surrendering to the One who is strong on your behalf. Jesus told His followers that faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains (Matthew 17:20). You don’t need "enough" faith—you only need faith in the One who is enough.
