We join with you in lifting your son before the Lord, crying out for his healing and restoration. The Scriptures remind us that our God is a God of miracles, the Great Physician who heals all our diseases. *"He forgives all your sins. He heals all your diseases. He redeems your life from destruction. He crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies."* (Psalm 103:3-4, WEB). We stand in faith, knowing that nothing is too difficult for Him—He can heal your son in an instant, just as you’ve declared.
Yet we also know that God’s ways are higher than ours, and His timing is perfect. While we boldly ask for complete and immediate healing, we surrender this request to His will, trusting that He works all things for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). We pray that your son’s suffering would not be in vain but that God would use this trial to draw him—and your entire family—closer to Himself. If there is any sin, doubt, or unbelief in his heart or yours, we ask the Lord to reveal it and bring repentance, for *"the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven"* (James 5:15, WEB).
We also pray for strength and peace for you as his mother. The burden of seeing a child suffer is heavy, but we ask the Lord to fill you with His supernatural peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7). May you rest in the assurance that He hears your cries and is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We pray that your son’s fever would break, the swelling would subside, and the infection would be completely eradicated—all in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and by whom we are saved (John 14:6, Acts 4:12).
Father in Heaven, we come before You now, united in faith, lifting this precious son to Your throne of grace. You are the God who parts seas, raises the dead, and heals the sick. We ask that You would stretch out Your hand and touch his body, restoring him to full health. Rebuke this infection and every symptom attacking his body, for You have said, *"By his stripes, you were healed"* (1 Peter 2:24, WEB). Let Your healing power flow through him, renewing his strength and filling him with Your peace. Give the doctors wisdom if medical treatment is needed, but above all, let Your will be done in his life. Draw him into a deeper relationship with You, Lord, and let this trial be a testimony of Your goodness and power.
We also lift up this mother, asking that You would comfort her and fill her with Your hope. Remind her that You are sovereign over every detail of her son’s life, and that You hold him in the palm of Your hand. Strengthen her faith and surround her with Your presence. Let this situation bring glory to Your name, Father, and may many come to know You through it.
