We join with you in prayer and thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus our Lord, for it is through Him alone that we have comfort, provision, healing and forgiveness.

We are encouraged by your desire for His presence every day and every moment, and for a clean heart and body. The Lord delights to be near to those who seek Him. As it is written, Yahweh is near to all those who call on him, to all who call on him in truth Psalm 145:18, and Fear not, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. We cling to this promise with you that He will comfort you and be with you in every difficulty of your work.

We bring your needs before the Father, trusting that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. We also pray for your health, knowing that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and that God cares for our whole being. We pray as it is written, Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers 3 John 1:2, and that He will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds Jeremiah 30:17.

We hear your cry for forgiveness of debts and guilt and for a clean heart, and we rejoice that you have brought this to Jesus. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. Through the blood of Jesus shed on the cross, we are washed and made new. We pray with the psalmist over you, Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me Psalm 51:10, and we trust that as you confess and turn from sin, He makes you clean indeed.

For your work we pray that the Lord will give you wisdom, strength and favor, and that He will help all that you put your hand to go well as you do it for His glory. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23. When the work feels difficult and heavy, remember the invitation of Jesus, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. We encourage you to seek Him first each day, for Seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the mighty name of Jesus. We thank You that You are with us and that You comfort us in every trouble. We ask You to richly supply every need according to Your glorious riches, to touch and strengthen this body and keep it healthy day by day, and to grant healing and protection from all illness. Lord, we ask You to forgive all sin and guilt through the blood of Jesus, to wash this heart and body and make them clean and pure before You, and to renew a steadfast spirit within. We ask for Your hand upon all the work that has been entrusted, to give wisdom for every difficult task, to remove obstacles, and to cause all that is done to go well and to bring honor to You. Help us to rest in Your grace, to walk in obedience, and to trust You in every moment. We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

We have been holding your request before the Lord. You brought so much to Him at once, longing for comfort and nearness, for health each day, for help with difficult work, and for forgiveness and a clean heart and body. We hear how heavy it feels when all of those needs press together.

We want you to know God sees the whole picture and cares about each part of it. The desire to be forgiven and made clean is precious to Him. For many of us, receiving forgiveness includes both a clear decision to turn to God and ask Him, and then a slower healing where our emotions and sense of guilt gradually catch up. If peace does not come all at once, that does not mean He has not heard you. He is patient as He works in us.

One small step that may ease the work burden is to pick one or two of the most pressing tasks each morning and bring just those to Jesus specifically, asking for wisdom and steadiness for that day alone. If health concerns continue to weigh on you, please also consider reaching out to a trusted medical professional alongside prayer.

Father, we lift this dear one to You. Draw near with Your comfort, supply what is needed today, give clarity and strength for the work at hand, and assure this heart of Your forgiveness and cleansing. Guard health in body and mind and give quiet peace day by day. We ask in Jesus' name, amen.

[Spurgeon]

Your prayer has been laid before the Lord and we have carried your name to the throne of grace, pleading the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, for there is no other name by which we may come to God and find mercy.

You have asked for forgiveness of debts and guilt and for a clean heart and body, and this is the right and first petition to offer. As our Lord said to the poor palsied man, Your sins are forgiven you, and that one sentence sets free from every jot and taint and stain of guilt. There is forgiveness with Him, and that forgiveness is not for this sin or for that, but a full and complete forgiveness, given not for your sake but for His own sake, through the matchless atonement of His dear Son. If by faith you believe in the sin forgiving God and cast yourself at His feet with nothing in your hands but the name of Jesus, the work is done. He not only forgave at the first all your sins, but He continues daily to forgive, and this forgiveness is eternal. Believe in the forgiveness of sins for yourself, as a personal and present mercy, and you shall be among the blessed.

And where the Son removes guilt, the Spirit removes guile and works a change of nature. He who trembles at the Word of the Lord is made to hate the sin he once concealed, and is washed and made clean within. Pray then that the Lord would finish transgression and make an end of sin in you, and bring in everlasting righteousness, so that your heart and body may be kept pure before Him.

You have asked also for comfort, health, supply for all your needs, and help in your difficult work. We rejoice to tell you that the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing virtue to the soul and to the body. He is abundant in healing power, and He rests in His love and rejoices over His people with singing when He is at work for their salvation. The Lord your God shall bless you in all that you do, and when you rest in Him you shall bear fruit unto Him. We pray that He will richly supply all your need according to His riches in glory, that He will comfort you every moment, preserve you in health as it pleases His wisdom, and prosper the work of your hands.

May the Lord grant you faith to receive His forgiveness now, at this moment, and to walk before Him with a clean conscience and a willing heart, trusting Him for every temporal and spiritual mercy, till He brings you to that place where sin and sickness shall be found no more.

We commend you to Him in prayer, that you may know the fullness of His pardon, the cleansing of His Spirit, the comfort of His presence, and the blessing of His hand upon all your lawful labor, in the name of Jesus Christ our only hope. Amen.
