We join with you in bringing this request before the Lord Jesus, and we thank you for calling upon His name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved and heard.

We hear your heart crying out for His presence, His comfort, His daily provision, health, help in difficult work, forgiveness, and cleansing, and we lift all of these needs to Him together.

The Lord promises to be near to those who call on Him and to comfort us in our struggles. He says Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. We are also reminded Fear not, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. And concerning your needs, we trust His promise that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19.

We also pray for your health and for strength in your work. We know God cares for our bodies and our daily labor, and we ask Him to sustain you each day and each moment. Beloved, we pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers 3 John 1:2. Whatever your hands find to do, we encourage you to do it as serving the Lord, for Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23, and to commit your works to Him, for Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed Proverbs 16:3. He sees the difficulty of your work and He is able to give wisdom, endurance, and favor so that it may go well according to His good will.

Your desire for forgiveness and a clean heart and body is precious to God. He is faithful to forgive when we confess our sins to Him through Jesus. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. We pray that He continues to wash you and renew you, for His promise is Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me Psalm 51:10. Through the blood of Jesus we are made clean and our guilt is removed, as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us Psalm 103:12.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, be near and comfort this heart, let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. Richly supply every need according to Your riches in glory, provide daily bread, strength, and grace for every moment. Touch the body with Your healing hand and sustain health day by day, and give grace to endure and be strengthened in weakness, knowing Your strength is made perfect in weakness. Forgive every debt and every sin confessed before You, cleanse heart and body and make this life holy and pleasing to You. Assist in all difficult work, grant wisdom, skill, and favor, and let all that is done be established by Your hand and for Your glory. Help this dear one to trust You in all things and to know that You work all things together for good for those who love You Romans 8:28. We are holding your requests before the Lord with you today. Thank you for honestly bringing your need for comfort, for daily health, for help with difficult work, and for a clean heart before God. It matters that you are turning to Jesus with all of it.

We hear especially the weight you feel around work and the longing to know you are forgiven and made clean. Those are good things to keep bringing to Him in simple, honest prayer, trusting that He hears and cares for you moment by moment. When worries about health or work start to build, it can help to pause for a few minutes at the start of the day and name just today's needs and today's tasks before Him, asking for wisdom for one step at a time rather than carrying everything at once. If you have ongoing health concerns, we also encourage you to stay in touch with a trusted medical provider alongside prayer.

We are with you in asking for His peace and provision.

Father, we lift our friend to You. Be near and comfort him, supply what he needs, watch over his body and health, give him wisdom and strength for his work, and help all he does to go well according to Your will. Your prayer has been heard and we join our hearts with yours in carrying it to the throne of grace through Jesus Christ our Lord.

It is a good and right thing to seek the Lord for comfort, for health, for daily provision, for help in your work, and above all for a clean heart. Hear what the word of the Lord says to such a seeking soul, "Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God." The Lord does not turn away the tearful eye or the aching heart, but He sends comfort to His own, that being comforted they may have strength to serve Him. And again it is written, "There is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared." There is forgiveness, not by your own working or waiting, but with God Himself, through the blood of His Son.

You ask for forgiveness of debts and guilt and for a clean heart and body. Know this, that the first work of our blessed Messiah is to overthrow evil, to finish transgression and to make an end of sins and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and His second work is to bring in everlasting righteousness. Forgiveness is a divine forgiveness, "I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions," and it is a surprising forgiveness and a complete forgiveness. As that poor man borne of four and laid before Jesus heard in one sentence, "Man, thy sins are forgiven thee," so Christ can in a moment speak peace to your soul. Believe in the forgiveness of sins for yourself, as you believe the Creed, and cast yourself at His feet quoting the name of His dear Son. He not only forgave at the first all our sins, but He continues daily to forgive, and that forgiveness is eternal for Christ's sake. If you have felt the hardness of your heart and the burden of guilt, take this whisper to drive away despair, "There is forgiveness." Where God draws no limit, do not you draw any.

You ask also to be made healthy and to be supplied in all your needs and to be helped in difficult work. The Lord who forgives is also He who heals, and we have seen in the gospel that first forgiveness, then healing, for the soul's peace is the greater mercy. He richly supplies all our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus, and He has promised that the Lord thy God shall bless thee in all that thou doest. Come then with your work and your weakness and lay them before Him, not trusting in your own strength, but resting in His love. When you rest most in Him, you shall work best and bear fruit unto God.

We pray for you now.

O Lord our God, be present with this soul and comfort him with Thy sure comfort. Let him know that there is forgiveness with Thee through the precious blood of Jesus, and speak that forgiveness to his conscience that he may have peace. Wash his heart and make it clean, and keep his body as Thy temple in purity, for without holiness no man shall see the Lord. Richly supply all his needs as Thou seest good, grant him health and strength for each day and each moment according to Thy wisdom, and help him in all his difficult work. Forgive his debts, remove his guilt, and give him to walk in newness of life. Let all his work be done as unto Thee, and prosper it as it shall please Thee. We have heard your prayer and we bring it to the Lord Jesus with you. You have asked for His presence and comfort, for daily health, for provision, for help in difficult work, and above all for forgiveness and a clean heart and body, and we gladly lift these needs to Him.

We pray that the Lord Jesus Christ will draw near to you and comfort you by His Spirit, and that He will supply what you need according to His wisdom and goodness. We ask Him to strengthen your body and guard your health, granting you strength for each day and helping you to trust His care in every moment. We ask Him to give you wisdom, steadiness and grace in all your work, to guide your hands and mind through what is difficult, and to help what you do be done faithfully and well for His glory.

Above all we thank God that forgiveness and cleansing come through Jesus Christ alone, who gave Himself for sinners.
