Please pray for ###

We join with you in lifting up your favorite Christian YouTuber before the Lord in his sickness and we thank God for the way this brother has used his platform to share the truth of Christ.

We are encouraged by your love and concern for him and we count it a blessing to agree together in prayer for his healing and restoration. Scripture reminds us of God's power to heal and His care for His servants. Psalm 103:2-3 says Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And James 5:14-15 tells us Is any among you sick Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.

We also want to gently remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that we are saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We rejoice that you called him a Christian brother and we pray that both you and he continue to trust fully in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, for that is the foundation of every prayer we offer.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We thank You for this brother who labors to make Your name known through his work online. You see his sickness and You know his needs. We ask for Your healing hand upon him according to Your will. Lord, touch his body, restore his strength, and grant wisdom to those who care for him. As Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, we ask for that restoration in his life. Give him peace and comfort in this time of illness and let this trial draw him even closer to You. We also pray for his ministry, that You would continue to use him to point many to Christ and that his testimony even in sickness would bring glory to You. We pray that You would encourage him with 3 John 1:2 that he may prosper and be healthy, even as his soul prospers. We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Healer and our Hope, amen.

Thank you for letting us know about your favorite YouTuber and for your kindness in wanting prayer for him while he is sick. It says a lot that his work has encouraged your faith and you want to give that back in prayer.

We are joining you in praying for him. When someone we have learned from is unwell it can feel personal even if we have never met them, and God sees that care.

If you are able to leave a kind comment or message where he might see it, that can be a simple way to let him know people are praying without expecting a reply. And we can keep lifting him up quietly to the Lord day by day, trusting God to work in His timing and in the ways He knows are best.

Father, we bring this brother to You. You know his name and his need and how he has encouraged many. We ask for Your mercy and healing, for wisdom for any who are caring for him, for rest and strength, and for peace for him and his family while he recovers. Comfort him and draw near to him, and use this time for Your good purposes. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Your request on behalf of this brother has been heard and we join with you in bringing him before the throne of grace. It is a tender and Christian thing to bear another's burden in prayer, and to agonize with one another in supplication to God for mercy.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are painful and press us to seek the physician, but how gracious is the Lord to use even sickness for our good. Affliction is often sent by way of test and trial, both for God's glory and for the manifestation of His power, and that others may be comforted as they see how the saints can bear the cross and triumph under it. If this sickness shall bring him nearer to Christ, it shall be cause for thankfulness, for a sickness which leads to everlasting health is no small blessing.

We are reminded that the one remedy for sin sick souls, and indeed for all our infirmities, is the Word of God. By the Word of the Lord were the heavens made, and by the Word of the Lord are sick souls healed. That Word is not merely the written Scripture applied by the Holy Spirit, but Christ Himself, who is the Word of God sent for the healing of poor sin sick souls. No hand can heal but the hand that was wounded for us, even the hand of God through the person of Jesus Christ our Lord. Let us pray then that as he is laid aside, faith may come by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God, and that Christ would be very near to him.

Let us pray together. O Lord, help him. This is a prayer that will suit the sick man and his friends alike, a handy prayer for every place and hour. Lord, help Thy servant in his sickness. If it be Thy will, lay Thy healing hand upon his body and raise him up again to health and usefulness, that he may praise Thee in the congregation and tell of Thy wondrous works. Give skill to those who care for him, give patience in his suffering, and cause Thy face to shine upon him. Above all, let this affliction work in him a deeper knowledge of Christ, that his faith fail not, for we know that Jesus Himself ever liveth to intercede for His own, and His prayer is prevalent and must prevail. Let the God of peace be with him and with you who have prayed for him.

Continue in earnest prayer, not with words that foam away, but with humble boldness and intensity of desire, such prayer as cuts a channel even through a rock. So shall your true prayer from a heart near to the Lord be a prevailing prayer, and God shall have glory through it, for Jesus sake. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have heard your request and we join you in prayer for this brother who is ill.

We take comfort in remembering that sickness is not always unto death, but can be for the glory of God, that His power and mercy may be made known. Like those who sent to the Lord for Lazarus, you have done well to bring this need to Christ and to ask others to pray.

It is good to enjoy the prayer of others, and we are always in need of it. Even Paul, who was so great, asked for prayer, and the Church prayed earnestly for Peter. We should not think we have no need of prayer, but should both pray ourselves and welcome the prayers of fellow believers. Prayer is a great weapon, and when we have first made God favorable to us by supplication, we can go forth with confidence even when days are full of struggle and trial.

Scripture exhorts us to make supplications, prayers and intercessions for all people, for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. So we gladly pray for this man.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we thank You for this brother and for his desire to make Your name known through his work. We ask for Your mercy upon him in his sickness. Lay Your healing hand upon him, ease his suffering, restore his strength and health according to Your will, and give wisdom to those who care for him. Keep him trusting in Jesus Christ, our only Savior, and use even this affliction for Your glory and for the good of those who hear his voice. Make him well again to continue to bear witness to Your truth, and keep both him and all of us watchful and close to You. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Thank you for sharing this burden and for caring enough to bring someone else's need before the Lord. That is the heart of intercession, when prayer moves beyond my own needs and I carry another person to God and ask Him to work in their life. No prayer is really complete without that step, and more is accomplished through that kind of praying than we will ever realize, because it is the quiet power behind what God does.

Praying for the sick is part of that work and it has been practiced from the beginning. Jesus often healed the sick in His ministry, and the early church continued to bring sick people to the apostles for prayer. Scripture teaches that the fervent prayer of a righteous person that comes from the heart is effective and accomplishes much, and that when two or three agree together concerning a matter, the Lord hears. It is not the length of the prayer or eloquent words that make it valid, but a sincere heart that trusts God.

It is also important to remember what prayer is for. Prayer is not a way to get God to do what we want, or to persuade a reluctant God to see things our way. Prayer begins with God and His purposes, which He makes known to our hearts, and we then pray those purposes back to Him so that His will may be done. That is why we pray with submission, asking for healing while trusting His wisdom. There are times when God brings immediate healing, like He did when He heard Hezekiah and extended his life, and there are times when His answer is that His grace is sufficient and His strength is made perfect in weakness, as Paul learned when he prayed three times for relief. In either case God reveals Himself according to our need, and when we pray for healing He comes to us as the Lord our healer.

That relationship matters. Jesus taught us to pray saying Our Father, and that access is opened through faith in Him. If we have come to God through Jesus Christ, saying God be merciful to me a sinner and receiving His forgiveness, we have the privilege of coming to Him as Father and knowing He hears.

So we can continue in prayer for the brother you mentioned, watching with thanksgiving and not giving up. Prayer does change things because it opens the door for God to do what He has desired to do, without violating the will He has given us.

Let us pray together for him now. Father, we thank You that we can come to You through Jesus Christ and call You Father. We lift up this brother who is sick and ask in the name of Jesus that You would touch his body according to Your will. You are the Lord who heals, and we ask You to bring healing, strength, and comfort, to ease his suffering, to give wisdom to those caring for him, and to use this time to draw him closer to You and to display Your grace. If it is Your will to restore him quickly, we ask for that, and if You allow this trial to continue, we ask that Your grace would sustain him and that Your name would be glorified through his life and witness. We also pray for the one who requested this prayer, that You would give peace and faith to keep interceding with thanksgiving. We ask this in Jesus name, amen.

Keep bringing him before the Lord. God hears the prayers offered in faith and love for others, and He will answer according to His perfect wisdom and mercy.
