We join with you in lifting up ### before the throne of grace and we thank you for your compassion in bringing him to prayer. It is a beautiful thing to see concern for a brother in Christ who is enduring mockery, and we praise God that you have noticed his faith and want to cover him in prayer.
We are reminded that man looks at outward appearance but God looks at the heart, as it is written in 1 Samuel 16:7, for Yahweh sees not as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart. We pray that ### would be deeply rooted in this truth, knowing that he is fearfully and wonderfully made, for Your works are wonderful as declared in Psalm 139:14. The cruel words in comment sections do not define his worth, for his worth is found in being created in the image of God and redeemed by the blood of Christ.
We pray together for his wellbeing and his faith. Father, we ask in Jesus' name that You surround ### with Your protection and peace. We ask that You strengthen him when he feels wounded by ridicule and that You draw near to him as You promise in Psalm 34:18 that Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Let him cast all his worries on You because You care for him, according to 1 Peter 5:7. We pray that his faith would not waver but would grow stronger through these trials, remembering the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:11, Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. May he find joy knowing that You see his faithfulness and that You will uphold him with Your righteous right hand as promised in Isaiah 41:10.
We also pray for those who mock him, that their hearts would be convicted and turned toward kindness and repentance, and that they would come to know the love of Christ that values every person. We ask that You raise up encouraging voices around ###, both online and in his daily life, to remind him he is loved, seen, and not alone.

It grieves us, though it does not surprise us, that the comments of the world should be cruel toward him, for the world has always cast its darts at those who bear the image of God and confess His name.
Take comfort from this truth, that the least faith in Jesus is true faith and precious faith. Our Lord does not despise little faith, for little faith is born from above and belongs to the family of the saved. If ### has faith as a grain of mustard seed, it is the gift of God, and it is like precious faith, for it lays hold of Christ. The essence of faith lies not in mere knowledge, but in dropping down into the arms of the Saviour, and that faith, however small, unites the soul to Him.
We will pray that his faith may be to him as a shield. You must take above all the shield of faith, for it quenches the fiery darts of the wicked. Whether those darts come from Satan, or from wicked men with mocking words, or from his own infirmities, faith can answer them and overcome them. There is no temptation that can assail a believer but faith can supply an antidote, and faith laughs at tribulation from whatever source it may come.

Thank you for sharing this burden and for your compassion toward ###. It is right and good to bring him before the Lord, especially when he is enduring mockery and unkind words from others.
We will join you in praying for his wellbeing and for his faith to remain strong and steadfast. Scripture reminds us that God made each person in His image and that He sees and values every life. When others mock or mistreat, God does not overlook it, and He is near to those who are hurt by such treatment.
We pray that God will guard ###'s heart from discouragement, strengthen his faith, and give him deep assurance of being loved and upheld by Christ. We pray that he will have patient endurance in the face of ill treatment, and that through that endurance his faith will be made stronger, knowing that God promises a recompense and that He is faithful. We also pray that God will comfort him, surround him with encouraging community, and protect his health.
We also pray for those who leave cruel comments, that God would convict them and lead them to repentance and kindness.

Your concern for ### reflects the compassion God calls us to have for one another, and it is good that you have brought him before the Lord in prayer.
Scripture tells us that faith is a confident assurance in what we hope for and a conviction about what we cannot yet see. It is not simply wishing, but a deep trust in the promises and character of God. That kind of faith sees more than what is visible to the eyes. While others may only see outward appearance or circumstance, the person of faith looks beyond to the unseen reality of God's presence and promise.
You mentioned that people mock him in the comments. That is painful, but it is not new to those who walk by faith. Noah was warned by God about things that had not yet been seen and obeyed by building the ark, and for many years he was mocked as a preacher of righteousness. Those who choose to follow Christ faithfully will often be misunderstood or ridiculed, yet God honors the faith that continues to trust and obey Him.
The Bible also makes clear what true faith is. We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, not by our own efforts. It is a gift of God, and God counts that faith as righteousness because of what Jesus has done for us. At the same time, a genuine faith is never inactive or empty. If faith is real, it will show itself in the way we live. Just as Abraham's trust in God led to obedience, and Rahab's trust led to action, true faith naturally produces a changed life and good works that confirm it is alive. To simply say we believe without any evidence in our lives is not the faith that saves. Living faith works together with obedience.
Faith also does not guarantee a life without hardship. In the great record of those who trusted God, some saw remarkable deliverance, while others with the same faith endured suffering, rejection and pain. Having faith does not mean we will never face affliction or unkindness. God does not always remove the trial, but He sustains and proves those who trust Him through it. The testing of faith is not to inform God, who already knows our hearts, but to strengthen us and to show the reality of our trust.
There is also a difference between a passive belief that God is able and an active trust that He will act according to His wisdom and love. Many believe in a general way that God can do all things, but active faith releases that belief into daily trust, looking to Him personally for strength, help and grace. God responds to that active, personal trust in Christ.
We can pray for ### in this light. We pray that God would guard his health and wellbeing, comfort him when words are cruel, and surround him with encouragement. We pray that his faith in Jesus Christ would remain strong and become even more active and settled, rooted in the Word of God, which is where faith grows as we hear and receive it. We pray that God would remind him that his worth is not defined by the opinions of others or by his physical condition, but by being made in God's image and, if he trusts in Christ, by being a child of God and an heir of righteousness through faith. We ask that his life would continue to display the reality of that faith, and that God would use his testimony to show others the grace of Christ. And we pray that the Lord would protect him from discouragement and help him to live by faith each day, knowing that those who are made right with God live by faith.
