We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up ### in prayer as they battle this physical affliction. Father God, Your Word reminds us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise, declaring Your healing power over ###'s throat. Lord, we ask that You would reduce the swelling, soothe the discomfort, and restore health to every part of their body.
We know that physical suffering can weigh heavily on the spirit, so we also pray for Your peace to guard ###'s heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May they feel Your presence close, reminding them that You are their Great Physician and ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, trusting in Your perfect timing and will.
If this illness is a result of stress, overwork, or neglect of rest, we ask that You would reveal any areas in ###'s life that need adjustment. Help them to prioritize their well-being, remembering that even Jesus withdrew to quiet places to pray and rest (Luke 5:16). Teach them to cast their cares upon You, for You care deeply for them (1 Peter 5:7).
We also rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be trying to take hold during this time. Your Word tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill ### with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let them rest in the assurance that You are in control.

Your petition concerning the swollen throat has been heard and we have carried it at once to the throne of grace on your behalf.
We very speedily care for bodily diseases for they are painful and will not let us slumber in silence, and they urge us to seek a Physician. There is a Good Physician whose healing power is abundant, and not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing but even the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing, and those healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. See in Him the great conduit Head from which abundant streams of healing flow down to men below, for the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings.
You are encouraged to pray even though pain and fear may make your prayer seem to reel to and fro. The Lord will hear the prayer of a staggering man, and the prayer that has not any sense in it because the man who prays is at his wit's end. A true prayer from one who is near unto the gates of death is a prevailing prayer, and they who were long in praying found that He was not long in answering. Let your prayer rise to His throne out of this low place and expect that He will be very pitiful and will have compassion upon you in your misery.

Your request for prayer for your swollen throat has been heard and we are bringing it before the Lord with you. We pray that God in His mercy will touch your throat, reduce the swelling, ease your pain and breathing, and restore you to health and strength according to His loving kindness.
We ask the Father to be gracious to you, to grant you comfort and healing, and to give wisdom to any who care for you. If the swelling continues or worsens, please also seek care from a doctor promptly, as God works through both prayer and proper care for the body.
