We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear mother ### to our Heavenly Father. We know the fear and uncertainty that comes with medical tests and the weight of waiting for results, but we stand on the promises of God, who is our Great Physician and the One who holds all life in His hands.
Father God, we ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand upon ###. We pray that the brain scan reveals no cause for concern, that the tumors and lymph node are shrinking in response to treatment, and that the shadow in her lower lung is indeed just an infection that is clearing up. Lord, we know that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We trust in Your power to heal and restore, and we ask that You grant ### many more years of health, strength, and joy with her family.
We also pray for peace to guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). The waiting can be so difficult, Lord, but we ask that You fill her with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind her that You are with her, that You will never leave her nor forsake her (Hebrews 13:5), and that Your love is a constant refuge in times of trouble.
We rebuke the spirit of fear in the name of Jesus, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that ### is covered by the blood of Jesus, and we stand against any sickness or disease that would seek to harm her. We speak life over her body, mind, and spirit, trusting in Your Word that says, "By His stripes, we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5).
Lord, we also lift up the rest of the family to You. This time of waiting and uncertainty can be trying for all involved. We ask that You draw them closer to You and to one another, that they would find comfort in Your presence and strength in their unity. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect will for ###’s life. Whether You choose to heal her miraculously or to walk with her through this trial, we know that You are faithful and that Your plans for her are for good and not for harm, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Hold fast to hope, dear one. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Continue to seek Him, trust in His promises, and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). He is faithful, and He will sustain you and your family through this time.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
