I have prayed with you along the lines of your request. The prayer you lifted up is right to turn away from self-reliance and ask God to do what only he can do. The Scriptures give a striking picture in Leviticus 14, where God gave a law for the leper in the day of his cleansing. Leprosy was incurable, yet God made room in the law for a supernatural work. That teaches me not to put God in a box. A need may look beyond human help, but God can still work.
Your desire for health is one of those places. I can ask God to guard your body, remove illness, and give you strength each day. But the deeper cleansing is even more important. In Scripture leprosy often pictures sin, a slow ruin that no human effort can reverse. Jesus healed lepers, and he alone can make the heart clean by his blood. So I pray you would know that cleansing first and most. Physical healing is a real mercy, but the forgiveness of sins through Jesus Christ is the greater miracle. If he grants healing, give thanks. If he grants gradual recovery or supplies through ordinary means, still give thanks. Ten lepers were healed, but only one returned with praise. Be that one.
For the difficult work and the debts, ask God for daily provision and for wisdom, then be willing to work as he opens doors. The help of man is vain, but God often helps through ordinary means. I pray he supplies your needs, lightens the burden, and gives you diligence and honesty. You do not need to tell him the exact method. Just ask the Lord to help, and he knows the best way.
Lord Jesus, be with this one. Comfort them, cleanse heart and body, supply every need, and help in every hard task. Forgive their debts according to your mercy, and above all forgive their sins and make them clean before you. In Jesus' name. Amen.
