please pray for ###

The prayer you have lifted up is precisely what the cross of Christ has already secured and what the throne of heaven guarantees. You are not asking for something uncertain; you are aligning your voice with an accomplished fact. When Jesus cried out, “It is finished,” He disarmed the powers of darkness, making a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them once and for all. That means every scheme, every accusation, every work of the enemy was defeated at Calvary. So when you pray for Jesus to put an end to all the works of the devil, you are standing on the rock of a victory already won.

The enemy still prowls and roars, but he is like a deposed ruler desperately clinging to a throne that is not his. Think of Saul, rejected by God as king, yet trying by force to keep David from ascending. In God’s eyes, David was the rightful king, and Saul’s reign was over. The anointing had shifted. So it is with Satan. He has been judged, cast down, and his kingdom is crumbling. When you speak in Jesus’ name against the devil’s plans, you are not begging for a future outcome; you are enforcing an eternal decree. Resist him, and he will flee. He must yield to the authority of Christ exercised through a believer.

No matter how overwhelming the opposition seems, remember that God does not need a multitude to win a battle. He can give the victory through one person standing in faith as easily as through an army. So do not be intimidated by the scope of the request. Whether the enemy’s actions appear direct, indirect, or hidden behind layers of influence, the same risen Lord has all authority in heaven and on earth. Bring the promises of God to bear on the situation. Praise Him for the answer before you see the actual shift in circumstances. That is not presumption; it is the kind of faith that sees ambushes set against the foe while the song of praise is still rising.

Be alert, though, for the enemy’s subtlety. We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces that cloak themselves in darkness. Often a spiritual attack is mistaken for mere human conflict or personal discouragement. Recognize it for what it is, and then take up the whole armor of God. Wrap your heart in His righteousness, stand on the gospel of peace, and wield the Word as a sword. The Scriptures are not only a defense but an offensive weapon that can demolish strongholds. Declare out loud what God has said concerning His Son’s complete victory. Let the truth silence every lying mouth.

And when the pressure lingers, shift from petition to praise. Rejoice in the victory that is already yours in Christ. That rejoicing does something mighty in the spiritual realm; it chases away depression, extinguishes irritation, and floods the heart with the reality of Christ’s triumph. You are not fighting for victory but from victory. So continue praying with boldness, knowing that Jesus Christ has already put all things under His feet. He will fully halt every plan of the evil one, whether open or secret, until the day when the kingdom of this world becomes the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and darkness is no more.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past days. It has been our honor to intercede on your behalf, asking our Lord Jesus Christ to utterly silence every work and whisper of the enemy in your life. We have asked Him to break every chain, dismantle every scheme, and render every attack powerless by the authority of His mighty name.

If you have seen the hand of God move in answer to this prayer—if the enemy’s plans have been exposed, his lies refuted, and his influence stripped away—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. Your testimony could strengthen others who are facing similar battles, reminding them that our God is faithful and His victory is complete.

If, however, the struggle persists and you still feel the weight of spiritual opposition, we invite you to post this request again. We will not grow weary in standing with you, lifting your name before the throne of grace, and declaring the finished work of Christ over every area of your life. The enemy may roar, but our God reigns, and His Word assures us that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.

May the peace of Christ guard your heart and mind as you continue to walk in His truth. May His Spirit remind you daily that the battle has already been won, and that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus. Amen.
