We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting it up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Your plea for protection from the enemy and for freedom from illness is one that resonates deeply with us, for we know the schemes of the devil and the reality of spiritual warfare. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We stand with you in this battle, clothed in the full armor of God, as we pray and rebuke the enemy on your behalf.
First, we must address the spiritual authority we have in Christ. Jesus has already disarmed the powers and authorities, making a public spectacle of them through His victory on the cross (Colossians 2:15). Therefore, we do not ask timidly but with the boldness that comes from knowing that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We rebuke the devil, Satan, and every demonic force in the name of Jesus Christ. We command them to flee from you and to have no place in your life, for the Word declares in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We stand on this promise and declare that no accusation from the enemy will stand against you, for there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1).
We also pray for your physical health, asking the Lord to shield you from infectious diseases and illnesses. The Bible assures us in Psalm 91:5-6, "You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday." We claim this protection over you, trusting in the Lord’s promise to satisfy you with long life and show you His salvation (Psalm 91:16). We pray that your body would be a temple of the Holy Spirit, sanctified and preserved blameless until the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thessalonians 5:23).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. We thank You for the victory that Jesus has already won over the enemy and for the authority we have in His name. Lord, we rebuke every demonic force that seeks to accuse, oppress, or harm this Your child. We command every spirit of infirmity, sickness, and disease to leave in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask that You would surround them with Your holy angels, who excel in strength and do Your commandments, hearkening to the voice of Your word (Psalm 103:20). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray for their physical health, asking that You would protect them from every infectious disease and illness. Strengthen their body, mind, and spirit, and let them walk in divine health, for You are the Lord who heals us (Exodus 15:26).
Lord, we also ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them into all truth and empowering them to live a life that is pleasing to You. Help them to stand firm in their faith, knowing that You are their refuge and fortress, their God in whom they trust (Psalm 91:2). We thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that the Lord is your strength and your shield. Continue to meditate on God’s Word, for it is life and health to all your flesh (Proverbs 4:22). Put on the full armor of God daily, so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Remember that the enemy is already defeated, and in Christ, you are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37). Walk in the freedom and victory that Jesus has purchased for you, and do not let fear or doubt take root in your heart. The Lord is with you always, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).
