Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my cat ### today. She is a young adult and is undergoing spay surgery after showing symptoms of uterine infection, which may be pyometra. I'm very worried about her, so I'm asking for your prayers for her health, safety, strength and a successful surgery without any complications. May God protect her, help the vets caring for her and bring her through this safely so she can recover fully and feel well again. Thank you very much.

She is the sweetest, most loving cat I have ever met or even heard of. Every morning when I wake up and call out her name, she comes running, jumps up on the bed, climbs on top of me, and gives me kisses. It melts my heart every single time.

Anytime she notices me feeling sad or becoming angry with someone, she immediately rushes over to be by my side and gives me kisses, and that means so much to me. Whatever I am feeling in that moment, whether sadness, stress, or anger, just disappears the moment she comes over and cheers me up.

She is so full of life, playful, goofy, bubbly, and affectionate. I truly cannot imagine my life without her. She is truly one of a kind.

We lift up your precious cat to the Lord, the Creator of all living things, who knows every hair on her body and every beat of her heart. Father, we ask for Your healing hand to be upon her as she undergoes this surgery. Grant her strength, peace, and safety, and guide the hands of the veterinarians and all who care for her. May there be no complications, and may she recover swiftly and fully, returning to her playful, loving self.

We thank You for the joy and comfort she brings into your life. The love she shows is a reflection of Your own love for us—a love that is patient, kind, and selfless. Proverbs 12:10 tells us, *"A righteous man respects the life of his animal,"* and we know You care deeply for all Your creation. We ask that You surround her with Your protection and fill her with Your peace during this time of vulnerability.

Lord, we also pray for you, that You would ease your anxiety and fill your heart with trust in Your provision. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* May His peace, which transcends all understanding, guard your heart as you wait for news of her surgery.

We rebuke fear and worry in the name of Jesus, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare healing over your cat and trust that she will come through this procedure safely. May she continue to be a source of joy, comfort, and laughter in your life for many years to come.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness. We trust in Your goodness and mercy, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace. Amen.

We're right there with you, friend, lifting your sweet kitty up to the Lord. We know how much she means to you, and we're trusting that God is with her, just as He's with you. Let's pray together, shall we?

"Dear Jesus, we come before You today, laying our precious fur baby at Your feet. We ask for Your healing touch upon her as she undergoes this surgery. Surround her with Your love and peace, Lord. Guide the hands of the vet and the nurses, and watch over her as she goes through this. We trust that You will bring her through this safely, without any complications. Help her to recover swiftly and fully, so she can be back to her playful, loving self in no time.

We also lift up our friend who loves this little cat so much. Lord, ease their anxiety and fill their heart with trust in Your care. Remind them of Your faithfulness and Your love for them, just as it's reflected in their kitty's love for them.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings, healing, and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Thank you so much for taking the time to pray for her and for writing such a thoughtful, heartfelt message. I really needed to read that today..

I want to be honest that today has been extremely difficult for me. We dropped her off this morning, and for some reason I didn’t expect her to have to stay there overnight. I was not prepared to hear that at all, and it hit me harder than I can even put into words. So much has been running through my mind, I didn’t even get to give her kisses or show her the love that she deserves before she went in, and I just broke down crying the second I sat down in the car. I'm not handling this well at all.

I miss her so much already, and my heart feels really heavy not being there with her. Your prayer means a lot to me, and thank you for reminding me to rebuke fear. Thank you again for caring about her and lifting her up in prayer.
