Disciple of Prayer
so last week i told my big boss my intention to switch department one day to inpatient setting, because i couldn't learn enough inpatient skills in current outpatient department and actually i have been falling sick settling indents everytime, juggling things out of office hour because i need to settle counter jobs as well which nobody understands there for me. my big boss was ok to accept my letter for consideration. today after 1 week, initially i dont think of telling my department boss, but i decided to tell my department boss out of courtesy but i only tell her that i wanted to learn inpatient skills because i have been sometime in enforcement previously. and there is colleague passby and overheard our conversation. i actually have no choice, but i guess is time to let go of these, just treat it as i tried to acknowledge my department boss ###, and i couldnt stop anyone from gossiping my choice of reshuffle. it is okay to be known about my choice anyhow right, although i opt to be a low profile. well my department boss was the one that initiates reshuffling some portfolio within department without telling me, and i was interested why not just reshuffle mine too? but instead after i voice out im ok to reshuffle in department, she havent consider yet this round because she didnt expect to, and she wants to know which portfolio im interested to switch to but im not so interested here plus nobody is equal enough my grade and i dont think anyone is interested to hold my portfolio, as im handling stocks, a heavy portfolio. i do feel bothered to be overheard but i also need encouragement. i want to not be drown of my current portfolio. please pray for ###, brothers and sisters, could you tell me what i should do?

We hear your heart, dear sister, and we lift you up before the Lord with great compassion. Workplace transitions can be heavy with uncertainty, especially when they involve relationships with authority, unspoken expectations, and the weight of responsibility you carry. You’ve shown courage in expressing your desire for growth and honesty in acknowledging the physical and emotional toll of your current role. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God’s wisdom, protection, and peace.

First, we want to affirm that your desire to grow in skill and steward your health is not selfish—it is wise. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 31:17 that the virtuous woman “girds her waist with strength, and makes her arms strong.” You are not called to burn out in service, but to serve with strength and discernment. It is right to seek a path that allows you to flourish both professionally and personally, especially when your current role is affecting your well-being. We also recognize your integrity in informing your department head out of courtesy, even when it was not required. This reflects a heart that honors authority and values transparency—qualities that please the Lord.

However, we must gently address the spirit of gossip and workplace division that can arise in such situations. When others overhear conversations and spread information without context, it can create unnecessary tension. Scripture warns us in Proverbs 26:20, “For lack of wood a fire goes out, and where there is no whisperer, contention ceases.” We pray that the Lord would silence any harmful words and protect your reputation. You are not responsible for the actions of others, but you can trust God to defend you. As Psalm 37:5-6 reminds us, “Commit your way to the Lord; trust also in Him, and He will do it. He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.”

We also sense your frustration with the reshuffling process and the lack of consideration for your request. It is understandable to feel overlooked, especially when you carry such a heavy portfolio. Yet, we encourage you to release the burden of comparison and resentment. Colossians 3:23-24 instructs us, “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.” Even in this season, your work is an act of worship. We pray that God would give you the strength to persevere with excellence, even as you wait for His timing in this transition.

Now, let us come before the throne of grace on your behalf:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our sister to You, asking for Your divine intervention in her workplace situation. Lord, You see the weight she carries—both the physical demands of her role and the emotional strain of feeling unheard. We ask that You would grant her wisdom as she navigates this season. Give her clarity in her conversations and peace in her heart, knowing that You are her ultimate authority and provider.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of gossip and division in her workplace. Let Your truth prevail, and may any false narratives or misunderstandings be silenced. Protect her reputation and surround her with colleagues who will speak life and encouragement into her situation. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, she shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

Lord, we also ask that You would soften the hearts of her leaders. Give them wisdom to see the value in her request and the courage to act justly. If it is Your will for her to transition to the inpatient setting, open the doors wide and make the path clear. If it is Your will for her to remain where she is, grant her the strength to serve with joy and the grace to endure. Help her to see her work as an offering to You, not merely a task for men.

We pray for her health, Father. The stress of her role has taken a toll on her body, and we ask for Your healing touch. Renew her strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31) and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind her that she is not alone—You are with her, and we stand with her in prayer.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would draw her closer to You through this trial. May she find her identity and worth in Christ alone, not in her job title or the opinions of others. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may walk in confidence, humility, and grace.

In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

As you wait, dear sister, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and His Word. Psalm 27:14 says, “Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!” Trust that He is working behind the scenes, even when you cannot see it. In the meantime, focus on serving faithfully where you are, knowing that your labor is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). If the opportunity arises, you may also consider having a follow-up conversation with your department head, calmly expressing your continued interest in the inpatient setting while reaffirming your commitment to your current role until a transition is possible.

You are not forgotten, and you are not alone. The Lord sees your heart, and He will guide your steps. Keep your eyes on Him, and He will direct your path (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Praying for you and your request in Jesus.

Have we ever really meditated on Matthew 6 where Jesus instructs us to take no thought for our lives? I have looked at this in terms of the rest of the Bible where I have learned to claim His Promises in Jesus and take on His thoughts for my life. Thank You Lord Jesus for Blessing me to learn to stop thinking about my life, learn to take on Your thoughts for my life and so much more for Your Glory and my good in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Do you Believe Jesus died for our sins, is Risen from the dead, is Preparing a place for us and is about to call us to join Him?

Are you watching for Jesus in the Clouds of Glory? Jesus is about to call us to join Him!

We can do everything Jesus did and more! We can speak; sickness leave in Jesus! Be healed by Jesus stripes! I am healed by Jesus stripes! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

You can copy and paste this to pray every day and share...

There is nothing that happens for us that is bad except our thoughts about what is happening to us. The Bible says All things work together for our good in Jesus! Look at everything as good!

Sing through out your days Thank You Jesus, Praise You Jesus, Glory to You Lord Jesus or anything that is on your heart to sing to Jesus! It doesn't matter how we sound, Angels will join in with us and Jesus will join in with us as well as fight for us, knock down walls for us, open locks for us, save people for us, evil will flee from us, He heals us and He will over flow His Holy Peace in us.

Praying for others on here and reading your Bible will help you tremendously.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life from Matthew 6. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. My wife returned. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus! All things work together for my good in Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Praying for others especially in your situation will help you tremendously in yours friend.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

Pray this prayer look up the verses and pray it again with your friends and family and let's mount up with wings as eagles and soar. Soar with me.

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. God I take You at Your Word, if I will draw closer to You, You will draw closer to me (James 4:8). Show me how to draw closer to You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

Bless us to sing praises and thanks to You Lord Jesus so You can fill us with the wine of the Spirit in Jesus Name, Amen.

Dear sister,

We're here with you, standing in the gap, as you navigate this workplace transition. We understand the uncertainty and emotional toll that comes with such changes, especially when they involve relationships with authority and the weight of responsibility.

First, we want to encourage you. Your desire to grow in skill and steward your health is not selfish, but wise. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 31:17 that the virtuous woman "girds her waist with strength, and makes her arms strong." You're not called to burn out, but to serve with strength and discernment.
