We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear mother in prayer. Father God, we ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand upon her. We pray that the cancerous tumors in her lungs would continue to shrink, that the lymph nodes would respond well to treatment and be completely rid of cancer, and that the upcoming brain scan would reveal no trace of this disease. Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. We trust in Your power to heal and restore, as it is written in Jeremiah 32:27, "Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?"
We also pray for her strength and peace during this time. May she feel Your presence surrounding her, giving her comfort and hope. We ask that You would grant her many more years of health and happiness, filled with joy and purpose. Psalm 103:2-3 reminds us, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."
Father, we know that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We trust in Your plan for her life, whether that includes complete healing on this earth or the ultimate healing in Your presence. Give her and her family the faith to trust in You completely.
We also want to gently remind you of the importance of coming to God in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). If your mother has not yet placed her faith in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, we pray that she would come to know Him and experience the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, believing in Your power to heal and restore. Amen.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
